I did a HD2 forum search and didn't come up with anything. Is there a cab somewhere that I can download that will allow me to have the camera on and be able to see it was a wallpaper for HTC sense? I know it would be a huge battery drain but it would be so sweet to have on every once in a while.

hi
the wifi always on feature does not work on the: "Dutty's_HD_WM6.1_V4.3_5.2.21054.1.6.7_1.59.709.0_Radio_52.62.25.34_1.14.25.24_Final_MSVC -"
as soon as the screen is off no more Wifi.anyone else have the same issue? or better a solution for this?
I would love to see a fix for this any help?
and the camera zoom that l used before "Xaking zoombar.cab" doesnt work on my new Rom, any news about that too?
download a program such as hd tweak or advanced config and there youll find an option for leaving wifi on when on standby
as for camera zoom, youll have to downgrade your camera app to the old version which had a built in zoom.
its here

but please note that someone asked the same question recently and it would have been nice if youd searched the forum and found it yourself (not to mention more satisfying for you to have fixed it yourself )
I've seen screenshots of the updated HTC Battery widget but I cannot find it at all to download - Does anyone have a copy at all?
Thanks
Just search the market for battery widget. Choose the one that's titled HTC coporation
Nope that's the small version not made for 2.1 devices.
It was never made for 480 resolution. Was actually made only for the Hero and Eris
Hey guys, I've searched around but didn't find anything useful.
I'm trying to figure out a way to always have the camera in GPS Photo mode. For obvious reasons that I want to geotag all the picture that I take in the camera...kinda like the iPhone and many Android phones. In those phones, there's an easy way to just enable or disable geotagging.
Any ideas??

Hmmm...once I put the camera in GPS mode, it stays there until I manually change it, even through closing the camera and reopening it, and through soft-resets too.
See that's exactly what I want but it keeps switching to normal mode. btw I'm using EnergyROM 23569 Cookie - May, 28th release, if that helps any.

rvashi, what method are you using to put the camera in gps mode...are you doing it through the footprints tab? If so, there's actually a tweak to unlock that directly in the camera's settings, that's how I turn on geotagging.

I start Camera and then select the GPS Photo mode from the settings button at the bottom. I think that's the same way you are doing it. But mine is not sticking to GPS Photo mode for some very odd reason.

Just a quick post, wife wanted picasa sync on her slide so I pulled the 3dgallery from my nexus and installed in on her slide, works pretty good except 1 of her picasa folders has 1000 photos in it, that seems to slow down the slide loading it, her other folders with less seem to load right up pretty quickly.
Didnt know if anyone else was interested in it so figured I would post that it worked.
Cool
Cool, would it be possible to post the File, I would like to check it out...Thanks
sure, I just did a quick google search for it as I wasnt sure if it could be posted here..should be able to but wasnt sure..anyways I found where they also did it for the droid, just follow his video and your all set.

Thanks for the info, however after installing and trying it runs just as slow on the slide as it does on the 2.1 ports for g1 and mt3g.don't know how it loads on nexus one but the regular gallery is fine for me so I'm going to unninstall but its nice to know we can use this if we choose.
dont uninstall it yet, give it time to load and honestly it gets faster..I assumed it was cause she had a gaint folder, but it was slow for the first several minutes
Thanks I loaded and it runs fine on my slide
Hey thanks for the info, Just installed it and like everything else it is flying alone fine for me even with 1000+ pictures. I got to say this phone just gets better every day.
i installed 3dgallery the first day. if it does slow to a crawl, kill all nsed apps or restart the phone and it will fly.
so i installed the 3D gallery but for some reason it didn't replace the 2d gallery and now it wont uninstall either of them. Any solutions to that?
hope sum1 has a solution!
Working flawlessly on my slide
Sent from my T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide using XDA App

think you need to be rooted if you arent.
if you are then you can just "adb pull Gallery3d.apk" then , if you want it to replace the regular gallery, rename Gallery3d to "Gallery.apk" then install the app again, and it should upgrade the previous gallery to gallery3d

has anybody gotten this version of the gallery to work on the slide? is it more stable than the fixed camera 3d gallery posted in this thread?

You're right. Thanks for the heads up.
The sneak peek is pretty darn cool
I searched through pages in development but couldn't find anything on it is there a way to make the picture widget to work on CM7?
No htc widgets will work on cm7. They rely on the sense frameworks.
You cant even use the sense widgets on stock rom if you use a different launcher.
Thanks, any widgets similar to the one i am looking for that can be doeloaded from market where you can swype to change pictures
Not that im aware of, if i use one at all, its the stock one that only lets you pick one picture.
