I was wondering if it was possible to use the epic to view pictures from an external usb drive. I know id need to make an adapter to make it work, but after that could I use astro to view the files? I'm running froyo if that makes a difference

I don't know the answer, but this question seems more suited for the general forum. Threads like these clutter important development threads and should be kept away so this subforum status clean.
On another note, is your phone rooted? If so, what roms or kernels are loaded? That might help people who know more.

Check Myn's rom page, there is a link. It may only work with a sense rom, i;m not sure.

Download those and keep them on your sd card. That way you can always install them with each new rom. Don't forget the flash fix. That's essential

Just shoot your photos with raw+jpg. The raw photos will probably look horrible without processing anyway.
The photo widget may have a small bug. Would someone else try this to see if it happens to them. Load the photo widget to any screen. Pick images from folder and select the folder. See if it can't load the 4th image and load loops.

He wants to find out if it is just him or others have the same issue.
It works as expected for me. Try clearing the cache in the gallery.
I thought this was already asked and answered in the CM9 thread. 3 or 4 people responded saying they did not see this issue.
