Is anyone else having this problem? The apps are not on my sd card. What could be causing this?
(Haven't received OTA update just in-case anyone was wondering)

Hey all,
I've got a dopod 838Pro, and am having an issue booting the device, with the storage card inserted, it boots, but doesn't show anything on the Today Screen, other than the Day & Date. Also, if I click Messaging, it doesn't start anything...
Has anybody else encountered this or something similar?
Gary

If you have got activesync running, probably remove the allow UBS connections tick. Sometimes, it causes the problem.
Hey. i was wondering if anyone else was getting freezes and issues when listening to music from the sd card using the default android music app in CM7.
For the last couple of weeks my phone will play music for a little while just fine but then randomly the music app will freeze up, my sd card will stop working and so far the only way I have found to fix it is to restart the phone. sometimes the phone wont even restart properly, so i have to pull the battery to get it to work again.
I ordered a new sd card online today, so hopefully when it comes the problem will be fixed. But for now it is very annoying and i was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and can confirm for me that it is the sd card and not some other problem
thanks
Upgraded my S5 to Marshmallow. Use No Limits, but had the same problem with stock. Every time I boot I have this annoying "SD CARD for transferring photos and media" message popping up in my notification shade. It has two options explore or eject. Lately I've been getting the message more often, NOT after a boot. I suspect the card is unmounted and mounted again by some software, either through the OS or an app.
I've gone online and searched, it's also happening with S7's. Nobody seems to have a fix that works. Anyone know how to disable this? What about an Xposed module?
I everyone! Sometimes after turning screen on the phone shows a SD card notification that disappears almost instantaneously but I lose access to the files on SD card (photos disappear from gallery and songs no shown on player pro). If I access as card via settings it is reachable and a couple of minutes later the files reappear. Seems like the card ejects itself and doesn't happen on other phone.
I'm on Oreo stock January update. Is this a known bug? I believe is not hardware failure because SD card is accessible on settings. Anyone with similar problem?
