os verson: 5.2.21913
manlia version: 2.5.20181527.0
Thank you
Hw about ur radio version? U will need to hv 2.08 or higher radio
In order to run android.
Make sure you have atleast 1GB free memory on your sd-card, since it creates your data.img file on first boot, and needs 1GB.
step 1 - read directions
step 2 - understand directions
do not put the android in any other folder on your sd card! that's not what "root of your sd card" means
now we can move this thread to the proper place or close it
Ask this question in the thread were your build came from
Hi there, i'm newbi in this pocketpc stuff so please don't kill me, I've tried search engine but i didn't get the answer.
My Specs:
I have HTC HD 2 T8585
ROM: stock HTC 3.14.479.2 (04666) WWE
Radio: 2.15.50.14
Operation system: 5.2.21913 (does it mean that i don't have WM 6.5?)
Manila 2.5.20181527.0
2GB SD CARD (that was packed with phone)
And I want to put android in SD edition('coz I want to play Alchemy game )
I've tried:
This one
and this one
But none of them worked (it stops @ htc logo on black background)
What do I have to do? Or what I'm doing wrong?
try fresh formatting your card or try another sd card
The initial Android boot does take quite a bit of time.
I have never tried those ones, but * THIS * works for me.
First build you linked to states that it will not automatically create a data.img, you have to put one into the android folder and the darkstone build states that you cannot use an existing data.img so I would suggest starting again from scratch (aborting first boot will leave you with a corrupt data.img) and try again.
As fred mentioned the first boot can take quite a while..........
Ok i've tried installing the darkstone one @ clear SD and it works!!!
Thank you all!

Find a WinMo Rom here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=623283
Always make a backup.
1. Change .exe from rom download to .zip
2. Find file name RUU_Signed.nbh (or something like that. should be like ~270MB in size) and change name to LEOIMG.nbh
3. Put on a 4GB or less microSD card with a FAT32 format
4. insert sd into phone
5. go into bootloader by booting phone holding power and vol. down button
6. the flash should start automatically and should install stock rom/spl/radio

hey, i'm having a lot of trouble to get my phone started again.
I tried to use amercian android... but now it's stuck on the grey boot screen. For like an hour now, and I reformatted the sdcard already. And tried twice again. I know it's supposed to be stuck on that screen for a long time, but an hour?
But do you have to run the clrcad.exe and haret.exe even if you run it with magdlr? Because those don't work for me. I get: This is not a windows 32bit application.
does someone know whats wrong? Because before this I had a lot of other problems (the boot didn't work etc.) and i'm kinda wanting to use my phone now...
If you answer, thank you very much!
For MAGLDR you don't use CLRCAD and HARET (I don't know how you'd even select those) but you set the AD SD Dir and then go to Boot AD SD. What radio version do you have? It should be above 2.08.50. If it's a x.xx.51.xx then Android won't work. You can change the radio version by flashing HSPL then a radio ROM.
thanks and help?

see, the phone first belonged to other people, who put android on it. So I do not exactly know what everything is. How do you flash HSPL? do I even have it? Because I looked for a guide, and it said that you could check your spl version by doing a reset. But I did and I can't see anything? So i don't even know if i have spl, nevermind HSPL. And where can you check your radio version?
Thanks for the answer though! I really need it.
Turn off your device, turn it on while holding the volume down rocker. A colourful screen will appear, post the information shown on top here please. (Or take a picture if you can).
okay

You already have HSPL, but I just noticed that you're not running android using magldr. Just search for the error you got, the fix is easy.
If you are running win6.5, then to start Android from sdcard you need clrcad.exe and haret.exe
Or just directly boot from Android SD option in magldr.
Try fixing permissions in cwm recovery.
If it still doesn't work.
It might be possible that you have corrupted your android files in SD card.
Download the android files again (of the android you are using) and copy them to your SD card. And start again.

Cwm recovery. And that is? And where can I find it?
First decide how you gonna run android OS. from SD card or from nand.
cwm is a recovery used for nand android ROMs.
Search HD2 forum lot of information available through the threads about CMW.

That error comes when you're using WinMo, please don't confuse us, are you currently using MAGLDR or WinMo?

What it is: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1021837
Where you can find it: Use the toolkit to install it. (it's called "MAGLDR Repartition")
For Both winmo 6.5 and android system, i would prefer you copy the android files again to your SD card and try running android again.
