Flashing a Rom like IncHes's is the only way as of now. The only drawback is the camera is currently not working, but I remember seeing about a patch coming soon to fix that.

My text messages have been screwed up recently. Basically someone texts me and on the message it says I received at 1045 but its really 1040 and when I reply my messages come with the proper time. It makes my logs all screwed up. I'm using the stock app on myns rom with the stock kernel. Anyone else experiencing this or know of a fix?

Cool. Well not really but atleast its not just me and maybe its something with sprint? Sine you have a different kernel and rom I'm kinda thinking its them. I think I will try wiping my dalvik and stuff, just a shot in the dark.

I think it's too close to release for the evo 3d to be changed, or at least that will be their excuse I'm sure. They built it into the hardware after all.

wow didn't know it was a hardware thing, that would really cripple the sales for devs and ppl like me who like full access to everything in the phone. I hope they can unlock it through a software update.

The cryptography and sign checking is supposedly built in to hardware. If the software can tell the hardware to ignore it, then maybe... But that may or may not be possible.

That's exactly what I heard too, I was at regency bowling and I tried it and had full 4g service, it was running about 7 mb Download. But at home by Taft highway I get nothing Haha sad

Noticed a slight improvement in some areas with this PRL. But nothing to make me throw a party.
Man if sprint turned their 4g towers to 3g and. What not i would never complain again all i can say is i get poor service in my area and it sucks cuz i gotta surf wifi all over town (sad face)

I get Hellua strong 3G almost anywhere around town. It's when I start going up North that it goes downhill. Farther North you go, Crappier it gets.
At work I get a better 4G signal than 3G. At home it's the other way around.
