Hello guys,
I just installed the SE original firmware X10a Generic Global, but I want to convert to X10a Generic Brazil, because I need an SE embedded software from brazilian version.
Somebody haves the generic brazilian firmware?
I have the updated baseband, then I cannot to load my old backup. I get a message notifying no updates.

there's a list with the codes for each region you just have to find it then make the proper changes and update

As far as I know, the Brazilian ROM is still at .504, so, to get it back to generic brazilian firmware, first you have to downgrade it to an earlier version using some flashtool. I used to flash my phone to 1.6 (brazilian version) and, after that, I ran SEUS, so it upgraded my phone to .504 firmware (without multitouch). Another way of doing that is downgrading to any 1.6 firmware and then change the CDA through RootExplorer.

Anybody aware if SE will release branded versions of this update?
I don't think SE is responsible for branded versions, but the individual carriers themselves.

it actually says on wotan server that its 2.3.4, just another minor update i guess

Register, download the two files needed (USB Flash Driver and WotanClient 3) and install them, and start WotanClient. The firmware flash will start after filling your data and downloading the files.
that would be good to know how to make tft from a working phone. maybe with flashtool. someone may post the thread what leads us to workout .

Pay attention. Wotan has specific files, different from Sony's. And, also, the `a` from LT15a means US, if I'm not wrong...

my wotan client cannot download..... i have flashed lt15a fw before it, but fails to download .will try later
now working, downloading & flashing. after it, i will make flashable flashtool tft with seus, and ft.
cannot make ftf with seus way, my seus says : Finished, i have the latest sw installed. therefore i cannot download this version of android, and cannot make bundle.
and cannot be rooted.... :

Update: We have received word from a trusted source on what is written above. We have been told that 4.0.2.D.0.4 firmware is definitely NOT Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The ‘D’ in the firmware stands for branded firmware for NTT DoCoMo in Japan. The 3.0.1.B.0.285 firmware for the Xperia PLAY is related to AT&T and is NOT Android 2.3.6.

I believe it is not Docomo.
I am running 4.0.1.C.1.9 which is the latest Docomo firmware. The device states I have the latest available.
Wotan lists Docomo firmwares under model SO-01C, not Arc.
Flashed it, it's definitely Cellcom Israel.
Loaded w/bloatware, but most are just web shortcuts (600-700kb)

this should be the firmware that sony have released playstation suite for arc in japan (testing) if anyone has installed this and want to try see if the ps suite runs check out my thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1402731 if this firmware does not contain the apps inbuilt. On the older firmwares it installs but errors starting ps store or game, hope there is different playstation certified permissions in this update for making it work.

I unlocked my Arc S before and now relock my Arc S with Xperia Relock bootloader.ftf I found online.
It work fine, except I found something different when I tried to reflash firmware by using Sony Ericsson Update Service software.
The firmware is different from what I had before.
What bring into my mind is bootloader may have control about about which firmware are going to use during the update process.
And now I am begging for UK version bootloader (ftf) for my Arc S
Flash a generic uk firmware, then delete the blob_fs folder on your pc then use SEUS

I just tried to download the 270. FTF file via PC Companion app but it gave me a failed message saying my device has corrected and modified firmware so am unable to update my device no longer :/
my only way to update am guessing is via flashtool once i manage to get ahold of the latest lollipop FTF unbranded uk flash files

I already tried via xperiafirm and didnt find a 270. FTF for none branded Euro or Unbranded UK, only has branded o2

usually after flashing with flashtool I do repair device with xperia companion - just for sure
Does it have to be Germany? There really is no difference, even for Xperia Care.
If You need German, try downloading through XperiFirm. However do it now, as tomorrow there can be 34.2.A.2.47 not 32.2.A.0.333 available for this region.

And Yes, after flashing with Flashtool Your device is exactly like bought with flashed region, so any OTA it will get, You will be able to download.
