i was waiting for this response LOL ud have 2 locked doors to go through gate and then apartment complex doors i didnt want to miss UPS guy so i left him an envelope with 20 bucks in it and key to get through gate lol apparently he took the bait usually they leave a note and i have to hunt my package down at stupid delivery place luckily i thought of solution other then calling off work to wait for my EVO im sure they wouldnt have been happy so i had to compromise

Just got mine too! its gonna take sometime to get use to, coming from a 3.5 inch screen iphone user, its worth it though

One of the best concerts I saw was seeing them play the Capitol Theatre in Passaic, NJ (11/80). Saw plenty of bands play there (1971-1984), and Roosevelt Stadium in Jersey City... Funtimes...

This one has to be one of my favorite live performances. Starts out playing a acoustic electric Gibson Chet Atkins. At 4 minutes in he switches to his Schecter dream machine.

Yeah I understand. Been going to concerts since the early 70's so I got to see some of the greats perform live. Hey you never know, they may reform or at least do a benefit concert/tour. Then again I'm a big Pink Floyd & Rush fan.

2010 was supposibly his last tour year. He has been having back trouble and I don't think he is coming back this year. If for some reason he does though you can rest assured I'm gonna find a way to meet him.

left center right far right center ..
randomly putting widgets on my desktops lol i had to wiped D and C rebooted same **** W T F .
so i finally had to cave and wipe everything and reinstall
just strange my wife was watching the phone do it's freak out and asked if it sprint lol

if it's a refurb it could be defective. that's why i always buy new, no used ones.

Sprint has NO control over your phone. Google can do certain things, as we saw last week with the remote app remover. But they would never change your homescreens and add widgets. It was probably just the touch screen acting crazy.

cm7 could be the issue. alot of problems with the rc2 ive heard and even seen for myself when i tried it.

I'm just wondering how it would be worth it in the long run. When the "EVO 3D" drops then the price on craigslist would drop even more. Right? Or am I doing something you're not doing?

you get upset quite easily. i didn't say you HAD to buy one, i said it's an option if your phone is jacked. there is no such word as refurb, it's used, plain & simple.
my advice is to do a full wipe and try a different rom to see if your issues persist.

if he wants an evo, it would be worth it to buy new, not used. and yes the minute the evo3d drops on sprint, so will the price of an evo. it's just the way it works. prices are already down alot from even 6 months ago. they used to go for $500+ on craigslist or ebay, not anymore.

My Samsung moment did that after I flashed a ROM, then it would settle down. I'm sure it was the screen being over sensitive.

Business 101: Buy high, sell low

So I hate this Blackberry I'm on...

So for those of you that don't know me, or haven't seen, my Evo, long story short got stolen yesterday before my Calculus III class. So today my mom sent me my sister's blackberry curve for a temp, as its going to take between 7-10 days to get my replacement evo. Let me just say that going from my rooted phone that exudes awesomeness, that this blackberry is garbage...I hate the keyboard and so tiny...and I can only have ONE alarm. Seriously? [sad face]
Evo >>>>>>> Blackberry. There should be more >>>, but we get the point.

Well I don't think I've committed anything worthy of forum greatness personally, but perhaps. They could have found, it but of course being me, my gps was off. Had a bad esn placed on it and temporarily deactivated it though.

Yeah that is a bummer! As far as all the 'find my -' apps go, are there any that can have GPS ENABLED by instruction / a message?

Depending on the rom you use, some of the sense roms that are sense 2.0 based have a phone finder built in. Blackberry isn't bad, it's a business phone. It's not made to be flashy, it's just made to work. I don't like it since it doesn't fit my wants in a smartphone, but hey it does what it's made to do.

I completely agree, and that's exactly why I hate it; it doesn't fit what I need it to do in a smartphone. And I'm still kinda ticked that I can only have 1 alarm...and I have 2 different class times on m/w and t/th so changing it daily is a pain.

Yeah have found one that says it can remotely enable GPS and one stating that if off it can use network location. Guess I wasn't looking hard enough. That or it has been so long thought it wasn't likely. Damn, posts like these always get me thinking about having my phone stolen. Bummer.

I hear you man. i have one for work and am not a fan. it works perfectly with a corporate server and all that, but it's damn near worthless as a civilian phone.

I can relate. I have a curve that work gave me. A lot of my friends have BBM, so I end up typing on that and I HATE it. i don't bother correcting typos b/c there are way to many with my fingers hitting like 50 keys at once. Good to know about the new alarm thing. That was bugging me too.

They told me 7-10 days last Thursday. Consider yourself lucky to have the BB......I'm on a Samusung A940.

funny as blackberry os 6.0 is pretty awesome. i don't like blackberries much but my wife loves hers. she hates touchscreens. i even had to but her that new flip blackberry sprint has, she wanted nothing to do with an evo or android.

Throw a hybrid OS on it. Just download any BB OS, then go to C:/Program Files/Common Files/Research in Motion (RIM)...then extract the folder named "Java" and play around with the .cod modules.
I built hybrid OS's for years before I found Android.

Sucks you got your evo stolen I returned my evo I got from sprint by using my upgrade the other day, waiting for the one I bought from Ebay now But in the meantime I am using a Blackberry curve, I hate this thing! For one its boring, the keypad is tiny, no angry birds, lol. I tried to make my wife take it, that only lasted on day though, lol. She calls it a blueberry and has been walking around the house saying "no evo no evo", now my kids have joined her! grrrrrr Hurry up mailman! I feel your pain

I have a 13 year old daughter, I offered to buy her the shift for an upgrade, she said shes just fine with her BB curve

Well ladies and gentleman I did the unthinkable. I was going to hold out for the galaxy s2 but I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the EVO3D. I just want to say thanks to devs, trolls, mods, friends, cool kids, baby mama's and daddies, all the people who accepted the GB OTA especially the one guy who keeps making accounts asking for root, people who helped me, people I helped, people who annoy me, people that love team win, people that despise team win, people that create pointless threads like this one, and anyone else I left out that made these evo forums awesome!!! See you on the other side.....
First impressions: Only having the phone 1 hour I can say right now that the camera button and 2d/3d switch is already driving me insane. I hold my phone with my left hand and my fingers rest on it. I HATE IT, I HATE IT so effin much lol. Other than that the phone is godlike.......

@dased yeah i couldnt wait lol and @matty i hate sense also but the speed of the phone makes 3.0 awesome. I cant espress enough how much i really hate these camera buttons on the phone I could have really done with out them. Im amazed how cool the 3d technology is man I talked **** about 3D but boy is it cool. Missing my kickstand as we speak......

The camera button bothers you only because you aren't used to it. After you get used to it, if you use the camera, you're gonna love it.
I didn't know you ever had a kickstand to begin with....zing!

The fact that on the evo 3d the charging port/ hdmi port is one in same makes it a no go. At least with evo 4g you can stream Netflix, HBO go and other internet streaming sites while still charging the phone makes it a plus. That phone will be 99 bucks after Christmas.

Being a over the road trucker must truck stops have free high speed wifi. I have a 387 peterbuilt truck with a 32 inch flat screen mounted so streaming movies saves a ton on entertainment. They want 26.99 for a new release DVD... No way.... So for me the evo 4g is where I will be parked for a while and if I do upgrade I will still keep the phone for that purpose ... I think there will be much better phones offered in 2012.

The cool thing with me is that by the time I upgrade in January, the devs will have rocked the 3D and the S2 so I can just step in, "root the *****" and start playing, like i did with the Evo.

Same here. I cannot stand Sense. I actually played with an EVO 3D, and comparing it to my rooted, fully decked-out AOSP running phone, honestly it wasn't much faster either.
I'm sure it will be blazing once root is achieved and it has proper support, but my LauncherPro was certainly faster than Sense 3.0, apps loaded about the same speed, the browser pinch to zoom was almost exactly the same.
I'm sure for flash videos and graphics-heavy games it would certainly make a difference, but aside from that, a rooted EVO 4G easily matches the speed of a stock EVO 3D.

Lawlz, sir is too much.
Though let me know how it is; I'll probably get the Galaxy S II when my time comes.

I also picked up the EVO 3D and its so fast and I love sense 3.0
