I'm using Froyo 2.3 Mdeejay Revolution. I got a problem that I couldn't be able to sync my Facebook and Google account in my Accounts & Sync in Setting at all, it keep said like this "The process com.htc.bgp has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." So I tried to removed my account in Google but it won't let me remove my account unless I go to Setting, Privacy but there is no Privacy in it so I had to go to Setting, SD & Phone Storage to press Factory data reset to erase all data on phone and got reset. Still the same problem occurring up on my Android when I turn it back on again. Does anyone have same kind of this problem? Help anyone?

Hi!
I just recently moved all my contacts and calendar to my gmail account, and it worked fine for a couple of days. It then started with that I was unable to create Google contacts (only SIM and Phone was available). I checked the data synchronization, which said that there was some error with the contacts synchronization. Then I followed some advice on the Internet about clearing the data on the "Google Apps" application, to be able to try to sign in to Google once again. But now I'm stuck. I cannot sign in, which means I cannot use market, and my calendar and contacts are unavailable. When I try to sign in with my Google account I get this message (after a minute or so):
"Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server. This could be a temporary problem or your SIM card may not be provisioned for data services. If this continues, call Customer Care".
I've tried with both WLAN and over the mobile data net (Which both works in the browser, and in maps etc.).
Anyone has an idea which does not involve a hard reset?
Thanks!
i hope someone else does, but AFAIK, there is no solution that does not involve a hard reset.....
Hmm.. Strange. I did not skip the initial registration when i bought the phone, and the account have never struggled before, so I wanted to re-sign in, and this seemed to be the only way.
it's a bit of a bug unfortunately.
On the hero, the sign in only seems to work in the initial set up.
if you skip it or if you do the clear storage later on like you have, it seems to lose it's ability to link to the google servers correctly and you get that message. I don;t know of a way round it, but i hope that someone else does...
Yeah, I really hope so. It seems a little stupid to have to wipe the phone completely every time Google decides that they don't want to synchronize with my gmail account anymore...
Is there anyone else who has an idea?
Has anyone done this on a legend before? I've been googling and reading all the different ways but none of them seem to work on the legend.
Already tried clearing gmail cache. Google apps wont let me clear it's cache. There's no data.img that I can see on my SD card/I can't remove my google account from "Accounts & Sync" and I can't just add a new google account, I get a "Cannot establish a reliable connection the server" error, even on wifi.
Just migrated all my google account onto my google apps account and of all things to not work my android is the last thing.
EDIT: btw it's NOT rooted so DB hack wont work.
Every time I sync my calendar I either get "The application Google services Framework (process com.google.process.gapps) has stopped unexpectedly." or sometimes "The process com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
After sync fails when I go to the manual sync screen I see this alert: "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly."
I've had this happen before and clearing user data used to do the trick. Not this time. So I tried deleting every single item in my online Google calendar as well as every item on my phone. Having a clean slate with no events didn't help but a totally new problem seems to have been triggered by this mass deletion.
Now after a failed sync I get an error in the toolbar that says "Too many calendar deletes" and when I click on it I see:
Delete limit exceeded
There are 331 deleted items for Calendar, account [email protected]. What would you like to do?
Delete the items.
Undo the deletes.
Do nothing for now.
None of the three options fix the sync problem. Nothing I can think of fixes the problem. The sync problem started in EI22 but persisted after updating to EL30. I've never rooted my phone and would like to avoid rooting or doing a reset that would cause me to lose all my data.
I very heavily rely on my phone's calendar and am totally lost without it. Any suggestions?
Well, nobody offered to help but I finally got the problem fixed. Just posting this for the benefit of anyone who has this problem and stumbles upon this thread in the future.
First thing I had to do is root my phone. Left everything else stock and installed Titanium Backup (the free version) then did the following:
Business Calendar -> Wipe data
Calendar -> Wipe data
Calendar Storage -> Wipe data
Google calendar sync -> Wipe data
After doing that calendar sync started working fine and the errors disappeared.
I am having problem regarding my screen wake up. It wakes up from time to time automatically. I installed Wakelock Detector to track the app and found out Window manager has woken up the screen. How to disable it?
Another problem I have is callendar sync.
From time to time after restart my calendar sync disappears, I have no callendar at all and there is no ability to sync it in settings -> accounts -> google -> callendar simply becouse, IT DISSAPPEARS!!! After restar everything comes back to normal for few hours or to next restart....
HELP!!!
I have figured out what wakes phone... It was battery manager which draineg my battery... sic...
About the second problem, I can add that deleting google account and re-adding it also gives me back option to sync calendar for few hours...
Do not use unnecessary apps, unless it requires for purpose. Stock apps are enough according to me. These all are just fashionable, no real purpose. Some rungs in background and keeps ram and drains battery.
About the calendar/splaner app: again look for any aftermarket apps if anything causing this. remove if any apps for sync automated etc. From account uncheck google calendar sync or turn off Sync from notification then Go to apps > all apps and find the splanner and clear all data including cache memory. (If you have only google calendar, contact birthdays data then no probs, but all manual events will be gone.) After clearing restart the phone and again check calendar from account or enable sync. Let it sync or do a manual google sync and then check. check once and again restart the phone and then check again.
If this solve then fine otherwise do a factory reset or do a hard reset by holding power+home+vol button. Its clearly a app related issue.

Hmmmmm, I wiped phone, installed everything from begining... AND!!! Nothing.... It's the same.
Please Help...
I am on the Optimus G3 ROM and my Google account will not stop syncing unless I manually cancel the sync. I have tried leaving it for a day to see if it would stop of its own accord but it still carries on syncing. Because of this, my phone has not entered deep sleep at all. If I go onto the accounts and sync settings for my Google account, it says the Google account is syncing, but when I open it, it says all of the parts have already been synced.
Does anyone else have this problem or had it? How am I meant to go about fixing this?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Edit: Problem solved - It seemed there was a problem with the quickmemo+ application which was preventing the syncing from completing.
