I know there are other threads relating to this, just thought we'd have our discussions on this matter in our tattoo section
Is this even possible on our phones, maybe if someone could give more info on the phones dual boot system it may give developers a possible start for dual booting on the tattoo cos there is a Chinese tattoo running WM.

I don't understand, why developers should try porting wm 6.5 to our tattoo, when there is still no functional camera for 2.2 out.
As far as i know, the chinese tattoo has another camera (2 mp) and some other hardware components. so when the devs couldnt get a camera working on a higher version of the same os.. so how could they get an other os running acceptable on the tattoo?

i only see info and no development relation in this thread(just putting the word dev in brackets does not make it development)
ill give it a few days time if i don't see any development on the same ill move it to general OK
as far as i know the chinese tattoo is a clone using generic windows mobile parts. so --> completely different?

PS: You made me puke a little though
as said prior to my post, it's being worked on, though there will inevitably be some problems.
Dont forget that with the Apple community the need to unlock is much greater than here (no unlock required to access the system etc) and so you will most likely find a lack of interest by developers to add applications into this software as the Windows Mobile operating system hasn't really changed much in the sense that it has always allowed for custom apps and tweaking etc, much like Windows.
Other than that, i hope it really does do well because i think it could be a great addition if enough developers get on to it and use it :L)
In kaiser forum someone relased a ROM called T.I.R., this ROM has embedded a Pocket Download Manager that does exactly this!
Maybe someone could ask there.

Just wondering,.... my friend got this phone, can we use those ROMs as i use on regular Touch, WM6.5, Androids,... ?
And what in general do you thing about this device?

The forum that you want to go to for this device is the one for the Nike. There are a few chefs cooking roms for it (deepjharenka being one of them). Don't install roms for the Vogue on the Nike or you will brick the device.
As far as what I think of it, I personally never had it but I do like it. It would be far better if someone would be able to unlock the wifi that it has built in it, but up to date, I don't know if that has happened. Good processor, decent amount of ram and on board storage.
Like I said, head over to the Nike forums and you will get more info in there.

possible never.... enjoy in WP7.... look how many problems have with WP7 because incompatibility of drivers and how developers still not fixed after long time all bugs...
maybe Windows8 RT/WP8 look nice and sounds good but in reality HD2 is to old device for this...

I read the rumour a couple of days ago a I think it's an awesome idea. Even better would be, if someone
managed to port it and allowed dual booting.
So what is your opinion? Are you die-hard Android fans or would you give Windows a chance?
Because I personally would flash it right away, although I love Android and am not going to abandon this os
in foreseeable future, but having two great OSs on one phone certainly sounds awesome.

Found out that MT6582 and MT6582M are different. So I guess it cannot work. Need new kernel for MT6582M.

If another device with MT6582M is running an OS that's higher than Android JB, can the kernel of that device be used to make a ROM for our Blu Studio 5.0 SII thats higher than Android JB?
I don't know anything about this please help All I know is to flash ROM. Please respond somebody! Can another phone's kernel be used on our phone if the phone has the same chipset MT6582M?
Can somebody move this thread to somewhere else? It doesn't fall under the Blu Studio 5.0 category. There is no Studio 5.0 SII recognized as a device on XDA either I guess I'll have to wait like next 10 years till I get a new phone that has an os higher than JB
