I'm on euphoria 5.1.1 and I have superuser (in which i can't update the binary), but i somehow don't have root (I can't enable it in developer options). I have been trying to use adb, but when i try to run commands, it's stuck on "waiting for device." I also cannot get into download mode. Is there anyway to fix this?

You don't need freegee.
Root with kingroot (takes stable internet connection and about 3-4 tries) or simply root with the method in original guide
Then use Autorec to install recovery. Don't use any other methods. If its official lollipop, use lollipop autorec for your phone. Otherwise simply autorec kitkat recovery and flash away. Make sure u wipe system too before flashing a rom.

Use autorec. Also learn to use the forum search function. It is very helpful.
Hi , newbie help needed here!
have tried to root my moto and installed twrp properly. everything stopped working fine after i tried to install supersu. i tried to reflash stock image however for some reason twrp stopped working and I cannot run cwm either. the errors from cwm read:
"unable to load kernel"
while on twrp the system kept looping while attempting to install - i got errors such as "cannot find e: data" or "cannot mount e:" etc.
Has anyone come across this situation? Thanks in advance.
How did you get cwm recovery when it's still not available for mxp?...
Download stock firmware and RSD lite and flash it. RSD lite only works on windows 7.. otherwise you have to flash firmware manually.
