works for me, click the "download for pc option" between "you've got x to download"

the link is slow, but it is the only file hosting site I know of (free) any other suggestions?

:'( i have wiped everything on my phone which means i now have no rom on my phone.... i was really looking forward to flashing this rom, but it has the verification failed... please fix it quickly so that i can flash it lol, i need to get a rom on my phone right now

I will try useing fake flash now, i have been useing windows recovery now lol, i will report back if it works.

Seems it will only flash in fake flash and not adb-recovery windows lol. got it working now anyways and very nice UI. love it!

I've done a update. Zip with the themed files only, can share it in 8h (on work now) but I don't think it will work on any froyo Rom

How to apply this theme?

I'm using OpenDesire v1.3b
Only just rooted and started doing using roms and stuff so I'm an absolute newbie at this kind of stuff.

I'm still confused don't know what you're talking about.
I've changed my rom to OpenDesire v1.3b now.
Can someone help me on applying this minimalistic theme to it, I'd be very grateful.

This thread makes no sense so far.
But to apply this, download it, put it on the root of your SD card, switch phone off, enter recovery mode then apply it via zip.
Edit:
You realise there is a Tom based on this theme? There's also a nextheme thread in Themes and Apps.

Yeah, it should. But, if I were you, I'd download the one from the desire themes and apps section rather than that one. AND DO A NANDROID BACK UP FIRST!
Edit: in the last post, I meant rom, not Tom its called setrom if you wanted to check that out before flashing the theme over your rom.

Which one from the Desire themes and apps section?
I can't find one like it in that section, only can find it in the Nexus One section.

Should be called 'nextheme'
However, you're using the OpenDesire rom right?
I don't think most/any themes would work on that as it isn't a port from the nexus one. I could be wrong, but nandroid back up first if you're going to try.
Edit: nextheme wont work as its for FRF72, the one you found could work if its for the right version.

Yh i really like that theme as well, i dont think it would be able to install unless some1 ported it ova for the desire. And while there at it they myt as well do the otha themes as well i want them all!

I think what benko was trying to say if someone creates a guide on how to do this he would post it in this "how-to" topic.
No idea on the theming though. (Relatively new also.) You could try flashing it (make sure you do a backup) It could be possible because the desire froyo roms are built from the n1 froyo roms, although opendesire's is compiled from the source.

seems there is a problem with data Package. i removed it (there is only TitaniumBackup inside)
and resigned it.
runs perfectly on OpenDesire 1.3b

There are a lot of ports for this theme on many other android (even on HD2) but sadly none i can find for our Desire

is there a trick to getting the HTC_IME_themed_by_gIMpSTa.apk installed? I installed it, and chose it from the language & keyboard settings menu, rebooted and still nothing. Should I be replacing the HTC_IME file?

I replaced the HTC_IME.apk with HTC_IME_themed_by_gIMpSTa.apk (renamed to HTC_IME.apk) and Pre-Froyo Stock Rom (EDIT: Pre-root Froyo stock Rom) didn't like that and kept FC'ing it... I also tried adb install HTC_IME_themed_by_gIMpSTa.apk, but recieved a "pm not found" error... is there something I am missing here?

Thanks for the quick response, and the new apk!
I mis-spelled the rom, as it is "pre-rooted Froyo stock" but I was an idiot, after activating the keyboard, I didn't long press in a text box and select the new input method... duhhh....

Perhaps remove the [REQ] from the thread title now that it has been located, and entice many others into this thread .

sorry mate. hella busy with university and all other stuffs thats called life

Cheers for this.....i flashed this theme to my old HD2 the other day and was hoping for a port for the desire.
Only problem is the black keyboard is not showing in my phone, i can select another keyboard but it is not showing as the glossy black version.
Any ideas?

You can find it in my theme for example, it's included ^^ Choose the PCW Carbon Ara 2.6 and then flash the patch v2.6.1

Your can restore your NANDROID backup and have a go again.
EDIT did you wipe the cache ?

after install - boot animation and doesn't load ROM

i managed to install this PCW, been theming it in UOT too.
what i do remember is though is that the first boot after u install this mod takes AGES, i didn't time it but it was definitely uncomfortably long. it hung for ages on splash screen (and after boot animation which i thought was weird). mayb i just had a little faith.
hope u get it working, i've found it v useful!

[theme][B160 and B136 ROM] cyanogen style theme "cyanbread"

This theme needs testing, i don't have this phone anymore so i cant' test it. It is cyanonogen blue gingerbread theme (should look like in attachments photo) with 1% battery precentage.
