Fastboot question?

Why does
My G2 boot extremely faster than mytouch 4g. My G2 practically takes 1 sec to boot up compared to mytouch. My G2 using virtuous rom and mytouch is using the latest ice glacier rom. I'm using the same boot animation for both.

Do you have fast boot option checked in MyTouch?
Yes I do it still takes a lot longer than my G2 only thing I can guess that the rom is way more optimized than ice glacier rom.

Turn off fast boot and download "hot reboot"from the market well worth it!

Recommend me a lean basic Sense ROM

Stock rom has tons of bloat, even Iced Glacier has tons of stock T-mobile nonsense like themes and whatnot.
Can someone recommend a very basic and minimal sense rom for mt4g?
Thanks!

Open the rom you want in a zip editor and delete the tmo bloat from /system /apps

I was referring to mysense in general with all the themes and stuff.
Lots of good looking roms but no screenshots and don't know how it will be until I flash it.
Just looking for a recommendation on basic Sense.

Gingerbread OTA update

Hey, I'm a mytouch 4G user (obviously) and I am getting tired of waiting for the gingerbread update. If anybody knows anything about it, please comment. And I also wanna know if it will be getting the newest version of HTC Sense. Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks

It will have Tmobile's MySense. It won't have Sense 3.0 but will be Sense 2.1 there are some threads here that have screen shots showing the Sense version as 2.1

Where do you get the new YouTube app from?

Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA
I got it in the market, if you don't have it update automatically you can go menu>my apps> YouTube and update from there.

Is the YouTube app for ICS compatible with Gb based OSs?
I don't think is compatible, if it were we'd find it in our market.

I like when people ask a question, & then answers it themselves! It reminds me of a poem I wrote: In order for it to make sense, you need to know I am schitzo and bi-polar..
Roses are Red & Violets are Blue; I love you and so do I...
