Need a Screen Replacement

Yes, I got the dreaded cracked screen after I dropped my device. Can someone tell me where I can buy another screen or a replacement one. I have been on EBay and that did not have any luck.
screen
if its any of the xda's 1,2 or S, u can buy it from www.pdasmart.com . Efficent service and the cheapest ones as well.. but mate if its executive or jasjar..then u r screwed..cause i broke mine few days back..n i got a replacement from imate at a cost of $180.
Screen replacement
It is a JasJar... You said you got a replacement screen from IMate? who did you contact? do you still have the link or contact information?
ok today was a great day I found a place in US that will fix JasJars broken/cracked lLCD Screens. $250 = new screen and they install it.
http://www.pocketpctechs.com
At top of home page you have a option to select your device
of course this works for all versions of the HTC Universal which JasJar is one of.
250 sounds a lot. how much is a new jasjar over there?
I am not sure how much they are selling for, I am not even sure any of the couriers (Cigualar, Tmobile, Sprint) even have them on their radar to start selling them. I was one of the lucky ones at a Microsoft PDC and bought mine for $150. I can tell you after I broke my lcd I worked with IMATE for a repair and they wanted $200 for a new LCD, but they could not tell me what the labor charge would be and I would have to pay for shipping to and from United Arab Emerates which from the TNT shipping company looked to be $80 each way. So I saw $200 + Labor charge $50 to $100 + 80 + 80 = $410 or $460 and did not feel the device was worth that.
I did put in a "Want it now" search in EBay and everyone wanted $200 or more just for the LCD panel
My thought was I was having a heck of a time 3 weeks to even find anyone who would sell a LCD or fix the device themselves. I tried many places in UK and Canada with no luck. This place was in USA (so i could bug them easier on what was happen) and seems to have a good reputation on the web.

Xda Parts For Sale

I have an Exec which I have broken down and as a result I have some parts for sale.
The parts are as follows. All prices are GBP and are plus P&P.
LCD Touch Screen - £20
Keyboard - £5
Coax Cable and Screen lid shell - £10
I also have various internal bits like speakers, video calling camera, vibration unit, LED etc, will take donations for these.
Anyone interested, PM me and I'll get back to you.
Thanks for looking.
reduction if i buy it all? would mean i have a workiing universal again
what was actually wrong with it?
It was blocked by O2 as I lost it and had an insurance replacement. It was then found again and worked flawlessly except for the GSM.
Midget, you have a PM.
no i dont
You do now.
Have you chaps settled already or is this still available?
I want to buy the Flash led & Camera (the back one, not the Video calling camera) & battery parts.
Please PM me for the price.
Would you sell the case for this or is it to battered up? Also I live in the US.
I'll take the screen if it's still available.
Cheers
I am interested in the motherboard (the part with the WIFI on it.)

Hermes Parts

on witch site can i find parts for this phone i need a motherbord
Easiest thing to do is buy a Hermes off of ebay and swap out motherboards. Make sure that if theres something wrong it ISN'T the "No GSM" error or its a pointless purchase.
You can use the other parts as spares too.
Cheers...
Had the same request for a new motherboard - found one that had screen problems on Craigslist locally. Paid about 40 dollars. Everything but the screen (bad digitizer) was fine although the case was a little beat up. Prices on eBay even for the really beat up are pretty high. You do have to ask tons of questions - second the no GSM Error questions. Also ask if the USB port is functional and isn't loose. Check if the mSD card is working.

Back battery and camera cover

Can i find this (as set or one to one part) anywhere cheaper than ebay?
I mean ,any chinese store or something else which support paypal and shipping to Greece.
I bought a few days ago the digitizer for 8.90 dollars (from chinese store ,no ebay) ,so i think that battery and camera covers is little expensive (14 dollars).
Thanks for your help
I need myself only the camera cover. I can find it on ebay.com for about US $7.44 Has anyone found it cheaper?
I have found these, in case someone needs this too....

[Q] Replacement screen ...

Damn and double damn! Took my S4 out of my pocket (front) yesterday and it wouldn't work. Tried to brush what I thought was a hair off the screen and realised that it was a crack .... So, a new screen/digitiser is needed. Can anyone recommend a seller in the UK (or, someone in the UK recommend a seller TO the UK)? Don't mind if it's Fleabay or elsewhere, just as long as they sell what they say they sell .... I've found a few on Fleabay who seem legit but you never know ....
Thanks.
So, after some messing about I found that a local repair shop to me could supply and fit a new screen/digitiser for £99.99. Took him about 10 minutes as I'd already taken the phone apart Yes, I could have saved some money by buying via Fleabay but the extra gives me 6 months warranty. Now got what looks like a new phone.
