I just change to use Galaxy S.I want to know about update froyo.Cos my friend just update from 2.1 to 2.2 everything was good but when scroll the menu icon it's doesn't stable.So can anyone confirm does the Froyo run stable on galaxy s?

Got a text from my phone provider Friday that an updatr for the HD video was available, and also Gingerbread OS. Problem is the friend who translated it for me was not sure if the update was for the Tab or Galaxy S.
I will have access to my computer and KIES tonight and will post back here if it is ready or not.

Also when I connected to KIES it said the old was:
Current: PDA: EB22/ PHONE: EB18
NEW: PDA: EC12/ PHONE: EC09
So it loks like my friend was right and the update to GB was for the Galaxy S phone only. Makes sense as the S II was released this weekend, as well as the iPad2.
Sorry to get everyone's hopes up, but maybe this will be of some use to someone.

Yep Kies does not work with the stock rom for me too. Try the overcome 3g rom - works for me else try Kies Air from the Samsung market and use that with a browser.

Second Q: I have downloaded "N7000JPLA1_N7000OJPLA1_XSG" Firmware which is the latest one in UAE, Is there any problem if I'll install it in my galaxy note??

according to some web pages the UAE versions are N7000JPKJ4 (2.3.5) & N7000JPKK2 (2.3.6) these two are officialy arabic firmwares for the UAE.
your version works too and its new 2.3.6 you can easly flash it just watch for the flash counter from incrementing other than that its completly harmless and nothing too complicated to follow. i recommend getting a script rooting and then flash with the CMW (ClockWorkMOD) so you'll have no counter issues and avoid warrenty though you can fix that and reset the counter prefer not going there and trying this mess cause then you'll need a JIG.

Why don't install one of AOSP-based rom (e.g. imilka's CyanogenMod 9) which i'm using with no problem in reading and writing in Arabic !
JPLA1 is working great .. i'm using it and it's official
I just purchased Galaxy Note GT-N7000 from Dubai, but Arabic is not readable and even no Arabic keyboard for inputting. So how can i solve the problem bcz i m new and don;t know what i have to do.
Secondly how can i install any new language like URDU or others which are not listed in language list of Note.

MEA (Middle East ) cuz we are in IRAQ, we need Arabic and network to calling
the original (GT-I9000M) is Canadian version and English (Arabic not included)
and when we try to soft with Arabic version it become (GT-I9000) with out (M)
and the network not found and we can't make a call(No service).
therefor I thougt to solve this problem (as a first test) -never seen Galaxy Phones indeed- and softed by (above/below) procedure
PDA= Arabic (GT-I9000) Gingerbread 2.3.3 MEA
CSC=Arabic (GT-I9000) Gingerbread 2.3.3 MEA
