Edit: Please answer someone.
I use twitter and would like to know, should I use a twitter app(example: tweetcaster) and let it auto retrieve updates, or just use twitter sms? Which one uses up more battery?

Heya, for some reason my galaxy adds 2 hours to the events from Facebook. Is this something I can fix on my own, or report to Facebook or Samsung?

Glad to see I'm not the only one. Just started happening this past week. I have three things that currently use a FB login, the built in sync (which is the one that keeps expiring), the facebook android app (which I have sync turned off because it never got the pictures and what not in my contacts) and the Launcher Pro widget.

is there a texting app that can forward and reply to texts over internet to another device?
im looking for an app that i can send and receive my texts on my archos 70 that come from my evo.
i've done some searching and didnt really find anything...
let me know thanks
You can send text using google voice.
Swyped from my evo 4g using the xda app.
Why not just use email? You can also text a specific number by using the email format for it, for sprint I think is <number>@pm.sprintpcs.com but I'm not really sure this is the right syntax.

I would have to agree. Google Voice is a great all around app to have. I use it in place of my Sprint VVM, and I can Text Call using my Google Voice #
I am just wondering what application you all use for Facebook as the official one seems to be the cause of my lack of battery life. I use tweetdeck but it doesn't notify me of everything on Facebook

I've been running CM7 since the last "Alpha" release and have it updated with the Oct 22 update. I don't recall exactly when, but I started recieving these "optout" notifications. I don't know if it's related to CM7 or something else, but they're not cool at all . Does anyone know where they're coming from or how to stop them?
An app you installed

The only app I have installed now that was not before I switched to CM7 is Go SMS Pro. Has anyone had any experience with it?
Go sms pro doesn't do that, but i don't use go fb chat. What opens when you click it?

Found this after a bit of research. Looks like an adbased app on your phone is using their apk. Seems they do support opt out, but aren't doing a good job a securing your identity period.

I'm not going to click those %^#$%#$%#$ Spam messages... I clear all the notifications. The only features of Go SMS Pro I use are SMS & MMS. I don't have Facebook, Myspace, Google+ or any other "Social networking" (Read: Stalking) crap. Want nothing to do with any of them. Any ideas how I can track down where it came from? I've looked at the installed apps and services with Titanium Backup and nothing stands out. Unless One of the other apps got 'updated' to include this new 'feature', Go SMS seems the most likely suspect at the moment.

wats a myspace?
Although I usually have 150-200+ apps installed at any one time, I started getting those annoying little "notifications" almost as soon as I installed the free version of the IPhone keyboard. Not cool at all...
How often do they come up? Is it at a predetermined time or is it random? A relatively easy way to narrow it down may be to look at market reviews of suspected apps.
Girlfriend had this problem. There's an app called airpush detector on the market. Download it to see what's causing the ads
