Hi All
I'm thinking about getting an Aspen, and was wondering if the Aspen has a strong vibrate?
I find the vibrate of the X10 mini and Blackberry Storm2 to be far too weak...
Thanks.

As I'm giving up from getting my Xda II up to the task of BT Syncing AND BT handsfree, I ordered an i-mate Jam from Expansys.
As my order is on backlog due to lack of stock (more than 3 weeks now) I'm having time to wonder about my "incoming" new toy.
So I have a few questions for the more "JAM" experience users:
:?:
1.- Is BT operational with HandsFree devices? I mean carkits and the like.
2.- Is the BT stack having problems to ActiveSync with Win XP SP2?
3.- Any rumours about the new 2005 version? When will I-mate ship it?
4.- Are the most recent units coming with the flaws fixed? I read about bad sound, blurry pictures, a patched radio protocol, etc.
5.- Is any application known by not running on the JAM?
Thanks for commenting, I'll post my findings when my unit arrives.
BTW does anyone need a perfectly working XDAII?
No help?
Ok, Should I admit there are not any problems around? Is anyone out there moved from XDA-II willing to help?
Thanks.
 :?:
Great Move.
I changed my XDAII for a Jam and I'm extremely happy
No sound issues also bluetooth headset Motorola 810 connects fine. Camera is not too good but I guess thats the only flaw.

Hi zedeff! Thanks for info!
Just wondering: Is anyone using a BT carkit? Since this is a common problem with XDA II, I'm a bit worried about.
 :?:
considering a switch
i'm quite happy with my xdaII except that i find it bulky.. i'm seriously thinking of getting the xdaII mini (aka magician). any comments? bad reviews? suggestions?
btw, i'm looking for a fair market where i can sell my xdaII here in manila in case i do decide to buy the mini. any ideas?
Me too!
I'm also considering moving from the XDA2. My XDA2 has been great although not without one or two issues (getting BT working with a GPS receiver - not for the newbies!). I was considering the XDA2s and XDA2i but have read about issues with both. Now the XDA2 mini looks fantastic as I often wish I had a smaller phone without sacrificing the features. Has anyone else taken the plunge?
All,
I currently own a MDAIII and thinking about getting a MDA Vario, can anyone tell me if the Audio quality of phone calls are as good as the MDAIII?
Thanks
Msuk
Well, as you can see, I own th QTEK9100 which is similar to the MDA Vario.
The audio quality is ok. This is my first PocketPC with phone-function and I'm used to Nokia cellphones, whose quality is certainly better. ;-)
I also checked some other devices from some colleagues and the audio quality of the QTEK9100 is in the upper class. If I remember right, one colleague had the MDA 2 or 3.
I would say, it could be better, but it is not embarassing.
I want to upgrade from my XDA2 to either an XDA Orbit or XDA Mini S. I'm erring towards the Orbit but have a number of questions:
I have read reviews stating that the phone quality on the Mini is poor, can anyone corroborate this or know if the Orbit performs better as a phone?
What happens when using the Orbit for Sat Nav and there is an incoming call? Presumably I'd be able to take the call (hands free / bluetooth of course) but the device stops giving verbal instructions on directions?
Does anyone know of a car kit that charges the phone in addition to speaker etc? - Am I right in thinking that bluetooth headsets don't strictly adhere to letter of the law?
I already have a Navman Sat Nav & not entirely happy with it - it doesn't re-route well. I have read a couple of articles stating that Tom Tom 6 software can be installed on the Orbit & enables you to avoid a particular road/route - is that so / is it any good?. I don't know much about Co-Pilot, but I'm guessing that it's just software alternative to the likes of tom tom?
How reliable if the Orbit operating system? My XDA2 was a bit of a pain at first (re-setting weekly) but seems to have settled down. Either that or I've just got use to it!
Help with any of the above would be much appreciated!

I can awnser a couple of you questions - i had just got a new mini s because my last qtek wizard is so good - dont get it the screen is now v dull and colors poorly rendered - i checked 2 devices. I think htc have changed the screen/backlight on it. Orbits screen is brighter and clearer than my qtek 9100.
As for the radio call quality - i feel mini s is marginally better but not alot in it. The orbit is a superb device - v light and slim too. Seems v stable with no resetting as yet.
Have not tested gps side yet but hope that helps.
p.s. speaker quality and volume is better in the mini s because of stereo speakers but the orbit seems loud enough.

You are in the right place but need to go to the XDA-Wiki and due some basic reading on upgrading. Then head to the Prophet WM6 section and also read the sticky on upgrading to WM 6.
Hi! I have HP 914c with WM 6.5, but he is silent. I'm looking for sound fix or something else to make him louder. I try soundfix from SE Xperia x1 but don't working. How to make him louder!?
