poor bluetooth ? - Desire HD General

I'm disapointed with the Bluetooth quality, it's almost as bad as Iphone ! using stereo headphone. My previous omnia pro was nearly perfect.
PS: yes i'm having lots of lag too

I'm kinda dissapointed it only came with bluetooth 2.1. Why no bluetooth 3.0?

Sound quality over Bluetooth on HD2

Hi,
I have recently bought a sennheiser px 210 BT as I travel quite a bit and enjoy having some quality music on the move.
The headset in itself is perfect as the quality is great on most devices... however once connected to the HD2, The quality drops... the base is practically gone and I get some static.
I was wondering if there is any way to improve the quality of the stream over bluetooth on the HD2
Thanks,
Cedric

Bad bluetooth headset quality

When listening to music through my HBH-DS970 or IS800 bluetooth headset,
sound quality is so bad. There is no problem with Iphone 3GS and Xperia X1.
Does anybody have same problem like mine? Base sounds crackling.
I use the nokia BH-604 and the sound is great.
no problems so far
I've got a Sony xplod in me car... sound quality isnt very good through the Galaxy S. I prefer my touch hd... Only because the sample rate and and bitpool have been increased.
Think it needs doing on this phone, does anybody know if its possible?
Anyone know how to bump up the bit rate and samples pool on android? Never heard complaints like this about other droids...will certainly look into it.

I have a DS980 and MW600 works great on both..
I am using an Evo 4g, bitpool is fixed at 32 using various bluetooth devices including the mw600. I have searched for a couple of weeks and have yet to find a way to bump this up. The sound is ok but not as good as my windows mobile devices with the registry edits.

[Q] BT neck headset.

Searching for an convenient headset and wonder if this and all the functiond on it works on the Defy: http://europe.nokia.com/support/product-support/bluetooth-stereo-headset-bh-505
Any other suggestions appreciated but it has has to be a neck one.

Read many issues about them, moister problems, bad receiving and the sound quality isn´t the best...
Hmm, I had the S9HD until last year when it got stolen. I liked the sound quality and reception was good while having the cell inside pocket. Got a backup of about 6-7hrs though.
Nokia BH-214 is the best in-ear type bluetooth phones for our Defy. You can even change the 3.5mm to any earphones you want. I also use it to hook up my X-mini speakers.

Looking for a Bluetooth Stereo Headset (Does the HS3000 work?)

Hello!
I am interested in the Samsung Bluetooth Stereo Headset HS3000 - I had the Sony MW60 and it is not bad, but the volume control (not a real button - more sliding with finger over a line) is not what I really like - you can't use it "blind".
The Samsung hasn't got to be much better, the "real" buttons are a big advantage in my eyes.
Anywhere I see the HS3000 there are many Samsung Smartphones listed, but not the Galaxy S3 and not the Galaxy S4. Can someone confirm that it works with the Galaxy S4? Perhaps together with an headphone button controller app like you find in the play store?
I am a big music listener and a good bluetooth headset is what I need. I have got the big Philips SHB9000/10 but the play/pause - next title earcaps are really uncomfortable.
I think the HS3000 could be good. Or is there any other good stereo bluetooth headset?
All the best,
lienot

I am using the Phiaton PS 210 BTNC headphones with my G4. They support Bluetooth 3.0 and the aptX codec. I am very pleased with the sound quality and battery life.
Nokia BH-500 or BH-214 are great.
I had MW600,absolute rubbish design and sound quality & volume.

Thanks for the answers. I will try the old Samsung first. If they are not what I am looking for my next try will be the Nokia bh sets. There are much more than I thought.
Thanks

PS: I will post my experience soon

Yes they are quite expensive, the BH-500 is about 6 years old but it has amazing sound quality and volume.
It was £100 when new, top of the range. It is worth the £40ish it will cost now but the newer BH -214 is good too.
You will need to buy decent earphones for the BH-500 though, the ones on the BH -214 are quite good for bundled earphones.
Read this review http://www.gadgetnutz.com/2010/07/12/nokia-bh-214-review/
I have both and the BH-500 is better with good earphones.
Tested both with same earphones and same phone, same songs.

I use my HS3000 daily with both my S3 and S4 and haven't had any problems. Pair it up with a good set of headphones or in my case, the car stereo and you're golden.

Well I have MW600 and they're amazing for me but I haven't used them with my S4 yet (only with iPhone 4).
So Samsung/Google fixed bluetooth bitrate? First time I tried MW600 was with first galaxy s and it was rubbish because the bluetooth audio bitrate was limited.

I tested all 3 with same phone (S2) the same earphones, same songs, the Sony was rubbish, it distorts above 3/4 volume and the design of that bloody volume slider is ridiculous.
It doesn't respond when you want it to but does when you're trying to change track etc. Its infuriating:banghead:
The difference between the Sony & Nokia is night & day.
I bought the MW600 because i'd always been impressed by Sony products and reviews were positive.
I actually took the first one back to the shop because i was sure it was faulty but when i got the replacement i realised it really is that bad.
I suppose it would be ok if you only listen to music at around half volume but i like loud and the MW600 just fails.
Btw I gave it to my mate who now owns a BH- 214 after he heard mine (because he couldn't get a BH-500 at the time)

I only could compare them to stock iPhone and Samsung headphones but also I'm probably not that "sound sensitive" (I'm more "video sensitive" ). Or it has something to do with the music genres but all I wanted to say is that they are not rubbish to everyone and I'm pretty happy with my choice.
also the main reason I bought them was the headphone jack so with them I can create wireless speakers from any speaker

[Q] Bad bluetooth audio quality

Hey guys. I've been using a N910U for the last month and I love it. The only problem I've had with it is that the bluetooth audio quality for music streaming is really bad, I've used Beats Powerbeats2, Jaybird Bluebuds and my car's stereo and they all sound terrible, high notes are distorted and the overall audio quality is bad. I used to have an HTC One M8 GPe and an iPhone that sounded amazing. I've been reading that increasing the bitpool could work but haven't found anything for the Note 4. Does anyone have a way to fix this?
Thanks!!
