Thank god, we can now download official 2.2 Froyo from Kies
News : http://www.inside-handy.de/news/19712.html

Which version is it?

Better question is "which forum is it?"

this seems to be wrong.
In my opinion near all unbranded sold SGS in germany are DBT!

Germany:
I9000HKDDBT -> originally Debitel branded, Debitel covers all german
mobile-carriers and thats why DBT is right now like general unbranded for Germany. However quite certain that this will not last forever
I9000HKDXEG -> general unbranded for Germany
I9000HKDDTM -> T-Mobile branded
I9000HKDVD2 -> Vodafone branded
I9000HKDEPL -> E-Plus branded
I9000HKDVIA -> O2 branded
I9000HKDMBC -> originally reserved for Mobilcom branded,
but since Debitel and Mobilcom belong to the same brand it's right
now just reserved

does anybody have an idea what we do have to enter into the registry entries to get this german firmware?

you cannot change anything by registry hack anymore. I've personally changed my product code with the exadecimal method but still can't receive the update... it seems that kies matches product code + firmware version

doesnt even work with an old kies version?

it "should" work with an older version of Kies btw if you don't have the last kies release the update to froyo is not possible. so it's useless.... ant I'm getting mad about this!
Here my specs:
product code: I9000HKDDBT
pda: JG3
phone: JF1
csc: JH2
AND STILL CANNOT UPDATE WITH KIES!! what the hell are they doing??

Sorry OP, I've to clarify this.
The title says it's Android v2.3.3. Are you sure you go the official retail update?
I mean not "Flashtool" or the "Gtalk" update which will give you Android v2.3.3?
Aren't the upgrades mentioned here?
http://blogs.sonyericsson.com/products/
No..the specific region branding updates are highly unlikely to be listed there.
I only want official updates.
Google video talk does NOT put 2.3.3 on your phone. It fakes it.

Thanks all

My sales code is EUR. I think that's Greece.
@Hmtsjmftsch
I bought it from Gigavolt while they still had supply. It said so on the site it was a foreign language phone.
<edit> Yeah now I remember. It was greece for sure. Kinda panicked on first boot and didn't understand anything on the screen in the Greek alphabet. Until I came to my senses and switched language.
PS still no update here.
Gigavolt sold me a polish (XEO) version even tho I did not see any mentioning that I was buying a foreign phone. I tried changing the CSC to DBT (Germany) or XEN (Netherlands) but it's just not in the list
Kies is buggin' me crazy. I can't get the phone to be recognized by it, and even if it does than it says that I'm in the wrong connection mode (???). Updating over the air just returns the message that there is no update available

So, no root?
I will try to be patient and wait till the end of the week. According to the Stock roms thread the LA4 update is Germany only. So the waiting may be in vain...(EUR)
My patience didn't last till the end of the week. And I somehow doubt EUR will get an update soon.
Flashed the latest XXLA4 rom (with CWM), made backups and switched CSC from EUR to DBT, since it is a german rom.

[INFO] New 4.1.1 Finally for XEH - Hungary (No Brand)

Today, finally, i have received new update JRO03C.XXDLJ4, android version 4.1.1 via Kies.
It's available via OTA too but there are too many downloads so you'll wait.
I know there is new Poland firmware based on 4.1.2 but i was waiting for that update for my unbranded Hungary firmware (i'm in Italy ). That's just an info for who interested, no other. It's not reported elsewhere.
Info about phone:
Code:
Radio: I9300XXDLID
Android Version: 4.1.1
Build: JRO03C.I9300XXDLJ4
See you.
i was also XEH originally, but since i saw that XEH update is really late comparing to other csc-s, i changed csc to SEE and got LJ4 update month ago

Unable to update Note 3

I bought the phone which was brand new, couple of years ago. I wanted to update it to the latest OS but was unable to do so as it says it was modified.
After extensive research online, i came to know i have to flash the stock rom using Odin. But i am unable to find the stock firmware that matches the codes.
These are the results from *#1234#
AP : N9005XXUBMI7
CP : N9005XXUBMI6
CSC : N9005OJVBMI2
I am unable to trace the stock ROM firmware. Appreciate if anyone could give the link and the instructions if possible.
EDIT: Okay i managed to download the stock ROM of 4.3 from a website and successfully flashed it. But being in 4.3 it says the phone is up to date and has no updates available when i check for new updates

Use the newest XXU* Version fitting to your home country best. In my case you would need Germany (DBT) because it was a unbranded german phone. Thus I need PDA: N9005XXUGBOK6 and CSC: N9005DBTGBOI1. Because I am NOT using stock at all anymore, I always use the newest BL and MODEM, but in your case just use the most recent Firmware which fits your origin and provider.

Seems like Sri Lanka has a N9005ODD* CSC in recent FWs, but you have a N9005OJV* one used in South Africa and Morocco currently.
So I would try these:
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/62194/N9005XXUGBOK9_N9005OJVGBOI1_XFM (South Africa)
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/61958/N9005XXUGBOK9_N9005OJVGBOI1_MWD (Morocco)
No guarantee though, but in theory it's not interesting at all which FW you use. At least I already used DBT ones and Nordic Country NEE ones and had no problems in the past.
So you could try http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/62526/N9005XXUGBOK6_N9005ODDGBOJ1_SLK (Sri Lanka) too. But as I said, FW update always is a risk and if you don't know how to fix stuff, it can be a nice activity for a whole weekend to fix stuff again.
If you want to be more sure and secure... load https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.vndnguyen.phoneinfo and send the stuff shown in "General", "CSC-Code", "Firmware" and "Android" in here. Most interesting is the "Active CSC Code"

Isn't the different PDA version a problem?
Nope. PDA version changes from time to time. Check the firmwares for CSC XSI and you will see that they are Android version dependent. Same can be seen for any country.
