yes, same for me too...data drops for me have been very frequent I think i will try my luck with RMNET but I don't like CM6 very much...
Is there any particular reason why there is no sense build with rmnet?

hi I'm new to this forum I just bought htc dream and I saw on youtube there's a way to get android 2.0.1 on it. Is that true? How can I do that I also saw that the camra didn't work. Is there a way to make it work? And I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong place.

You can have a camera just not the android camera go to the market and download (Camera Magic)
what's the diff between the two camras? And where to I get the files and tutorial for getting android 2.0 or 2.0.1 on my htc dream?

I like Camera Magic better. It is faster, more resolutions to chose, and full screen viewing.
why 2.0.1...?
If I were u I'll go straight for the gold with

Or just wait for CyanogenMod 5 in the next week. It will be a fully working 2.1 Eclair ROM.

lol, there's really no "best" ROM. It all depends on what you want. If you're a noob you would probably want to try out something stable and CM's will be the first stable & fully functional 2.1 release for the G1. I might recommend waiting for that. In the meantime you should probably root your phone if you haven't already and install a 1.6-based ROM. (Almost all of them are stable - you can pick just about any of them.)
when is that coming out? And how do I root it is there a tutorial?

Now once you do that you will need to find a nice stable, quick ROM.
Search : Super D, Cyanogen, or Zach and Xillus200.
hey guys. i'm here for the evo forum, trying to help make a froyo theme for cm7. right now, i'm trying to get a g2 rom, so we can get some of the png's from it. the problem is, i have no idea which g2 rom is the newest. sorry for asking a question that (i assume) has been asked before, but i have searched, looked in your dev section, and even been on shipped-roms.com, and haven't found a definite answer. so can somebody please just tell me what the newest ota for the g2 is (maybe a link to the rom would be helpful?) thanks a bunch.

Hi everyone,
I've just come accross a weird problem, it seems that my accelorometor is not working in Ginger Sense android but is working in Windows Phone 7 and WM! Today I just receieved my phone back from a warrenty repair and the board was changed out as the headphone jack was faulty. I have also tried a Froyo Sense ROM and it doesn't work either! Before the repair I used Froyo Sense Android full time and never had a problem so I don't know what is going on but any help would be appreciated! I used to use Frankinstine Droid S but I'm not sure if flashing this will make any difference and I really don't want to be stuck on WM or WP7!

Your best bet is to use a kitchen if one exists or hope somebody makes a up-to-date one.

JB 4.1.2 is the max you can get with wifi.

In which case get off XDA. There are tonnes of ROMs, pick one and flash it. No searching needed. Simple.
