Lots of video problems

Hey guys,
No matter how I encode my videos I cannot get them to play on my streak, they play fine on ipod, computer and psp, but never on the streak, I have tried divx using Rockplayer and that has never worked, and if they will play the sound is way out of sync,
Any ideas would be gratefully received

any videos that i download from the net as avis seem to play fine on rockplayee. That is without any extra e ncoding steps

I have no problems playing video,I use rockplayer . Maybe a rest is needed

No probs here with play back using rock player. A bit choppy with flv's but sync with audio is usually fine

What settings are you encoding to. If you are encoding you may as well do mp4 format and use the stock or real player beta

Rockplayer, anyone having issues?

I was trying to play a MKV file that was 480p and all i got was continuous pixelation and lag. Does this phone not support 480p or does the player not support it?

Where can I download this, it doesn't show up in the market and the website points me to the market...

Looks like they just put a new version in the market. Works fine for me now that I finally found it.

can anyone view these streaming mobile vids?

hi,
this is an important dutch news site and its made for mobile viewing, but i cannot
view the streams in stock browser..or i cannot redirekt it to rockplayer.

Anyone an idea how to view these...i need an open with ...right mouse klick here

YouTube problems

Hi why I cant play new video from YouTube player. I also install the last version from Market but I have the same problem. Someone have this problem?

Never had that problem, can you not play your youtube videos from browser as a temp fix until you can sort this problem also what rom are you on?

Hmm.
I've got it too sometimes. If I turn HQ off it works.

Turning off the HQ only works on the mobile web version of YouTube.

Problem with default video player in khals and Dex's rom

Hi, there seems to be a major flaw in Dexter's and Khals Tom because somehow they can't play large mp4 or avi files. Small clips do play but when trying to play larger mp4 or avi files there is an error which says that "File cannot be played or displayed". Any suggestions?

Mobo Player used with soft-decoding. Download codecs if needed - available in the market. Works greate!

Can you give me an idea (mb?) what "larger" is?

A 350 MB file doesn't play but One 2.5 MB file one does

I searched up this problem and found a lot of driod x users have it after upgrading to 2.2 and the cause of this build.prop. So does anyanyoneknows how to replace a defective build.prop with a working one.

Who cares for default player anyway. There are tones of free @ the market. Maybe next time Khal can build-in one instead of the stock one. Building-in ES Explorer was a great idea already.

Guys can someone enable hd playback on our xt720.......it plays but audio video is out of sync....
And even some flv files audio is not synced with the video!
