So who have you or will preorder with?

It seems Best Digital offer the chepaest price and also HTC Direct. I am wondering if it is best to order through HTC Direct rather than someone I never heard of (Best Digital) in case you need a refund or return.
Also the shops in Tottenham Court Road in London may be a good place to buy and haggle for cash but I am guessing if a fault devleops in the phone, they won't exchange or give you hassle unlike dealing through reputable companies like Play.com, HTC Direct etc etc. I want to pay under £450 as over £500 is way too much for a phone.
I so want one now and HTC Direct says they will get stock in in under 2 weeks (31st Sept) whereas others say mid November. I have told myself after buying this phone I wont buy another phone again as this really seems to the best phone ever in what I want from a phone.
I just don't know who to preorder with or just wait and haggle in Tottenham Court Road.

BTW, it looks that they updated the delivery date to early november for the english version, up to end of november for the italian version...keep ready...

Never dealt with HTCdirect, and just in case you were wondering, they are NOT htc themselves, they are just a shop.
Expansys are usually ok, apart from the odd occasion where they buy dodgy grey import stock and sell them to get to the market early, and you end up with warranty issues.
Devicewire.co.uk are owned by brightpoint so they are usually pretty quick out of the gate with stock, and a good guide for the proper retail price and release date.
If you want to buy on TCR in London, then INKINO is your best bet. they are very good and knowledgeable and happy to help. There is another one around there that is owned by handtec (I think) and they can't get you out of the door fast enough once they've taken your money, and refuse to do anything to help if there's a problem. Best to avoid them like the plague....!

My preorder has been in with Clove.co.uk for weeks now (over a month). It was £590+ (inc. tax) when I placed the order and it has dropped to £523 inc. tax now ....I hope they charge me the lower price when they do finally ship!
The site is still saying price and availablity TBC but they are also saying it is expected 11-Nov.

They buy their stock from Brightpoint UK, so they nearly always say the day after devicewire/Brightpoint....Surprised they haven't updated their date to the 1st of November yet. These two companies are only a couple of miles apart in Bournemouth and Poole.

I'll probably be ordering with Expansys USA.

I ordered at expansys germany. I guess they will be the first to get HTCs new device..

Amazon.de has a very good price. The guys from a german o2-Shop said, that the HD will cost about min. 700,- Euros without a contract.

I don't know who are you guys going to preorder the Touch HD from but I just saw a broshure from one of the big mobile phone sellers here in Bulgaria and the HD was listed as avaliable and at a good price!!! 1299lv. Or 650 Euro! This is verry interesting and I'll check it monday when the shops open! Keep fingers crossed!

I get mine as a present, but know that official German retail is 660 euros. So Amazon incl. shipping is not too bad. I hope the HD lives up to its promises, since it marks my return to the WinMobile world, after exiting with Tytn I.

Yes, I just call them, they reply me that, they will have the HD in stock by next week and it realy cheaper than Expansys, you can even pick it from the shop at Tottenham Court Road, I am going for it. thanks

Don't bother guys, to buy from bestdigitalmarket.com, the price has gone up and release date is same as expansys, lucky me that did not cancell my order with expansys..

Anybody had experience ordering from handtec.co.uk? They seem like the best price right now and a Nov 12th availability.

I've used Handtec a couple of times. On both occasions I had no problems, with quick delivery on stock items. They do seem to slightly undercut many other suppliers. They are shown as an official supplier by HTC.

Only the iPhone in UAE is above 3k aed, all other android phones are around 2600 aed.

It was on pre order form saletab.com from UAE for 2599 now I see they increased prie to 27XX and delivery is delayed to 30th April.
I am in Qatar and had ordered from ebay, costed me around 3 K incl shipping
or handtec i think is best as they will DHL it international and will not charge VAT you have to wait a little bit though but possibly prior to 30th April.

Much to my regret I live outside US and had to order the tab through the dealer who shipps it to Russia. So it was ordered from Amazon when it was a "Feb 19 release pre-order" but I assume I did not make it into the 1st batch who received their preorders... So now I do not have a lot of choice but to wait it from Amazon... I just hate that "order now and we will inform you when it is avaliable" thing.
I was wondering mybe anyone has the expirience with the "Temrorary out of stock" status on Amazon so I at least could estimate it's arrival time.
I want my tab :crying:

When my preorder didn't ship I chatted with customer support and was told that they would be in stock in about a week.

I was not in the first batch of pre-orders as well, my rescheduled delivery estimate is Wednesday so I would assume ship out Monday or Tuesday.

I wouldn`t send them money, looks pretty fishy to me especialy for that price and besides that they only offer a 1 year warranty. European law decretes a minimum of 2 years warranty if a device is sold from within the EU.
-Edit- price is NL and Germay is about 550 euro`s so the pricing could be possible i guess.

Just tried to order from Amazon.de, but the order won't process as I'm in the uk. LG are determined not to let the Brits have 32 gig!

Does it say when it will be available? The 3gb version? In Poland it starts this Friday but I spoke with the lg representative today (at the phone premiere in Poland) and he told me that the 32gb ver won't be available next month

The G3 launches here (In Saudi Arabia) in about a couple of weeks (July 10th to be precise) but they're gonna sell the 32GB version for £393 and they'll include the official LG wireless charger and the official window case for free!!
Only condition is that you have to be one of the people who preordered.
I find that too good a deal to ignore and so had a go! Roll on 10th of July
