download flipz kitchen, run the auto root option. mount your sd card, move the 2.1 zip onto your sd card, flash said zip from the recovery screen. pretty fool proof

yep just finished installing it and watching the top five hightlight from the weekend
ooh yeah just a side note NUGGETS were 3 outta the top five plays
what ver of nba u got ? 1.0 or 1.2 ? i cant get either to install on fresh 1.0

i have android 1.5 with fresh 1.0. which firmware you have ? when you flash to custom roms found here, does firmware stay the same ? i was told that nba app only works on android 1.6.

ok, i just flashed to fresh 1.1 and i still cant get nba app to install. i have both ver 1.0 and 1.2. where do you get 1.2.1 ?
i got the nba app installed, but connection kept timing out for live games, however, it works on replays
any ideas?

I agree. Yes the Wikis clean up the front page but yeah this is getting kinda annoying

You don't actually expect people to *read*, do you? This is why there continue to be issues with people doing stupid things like flashing GSM updates onto CDMA Heros, just because the version number is higher.
Would it be possible to extract Flash Player 10.1 from Froyo? It doesn't show on Market for lower versions

That's because it won't run on lower versions.
Ever think they do these things for a reason? (Resitrict OS version for certain apps)

Flash player 10.1 doesnt work without andorid 2.2 and hes speed.
Flash is using some new libraries from froyo, if you are on 2.2 then just get the beta from adobe.com, until it comes to RTM.
as the other 2 said, it doesn't show because it wouldn't work. Plus why would you need to extract it when the apk is a download?
It also kind of sucks.

Ok then what sort of flash player/plug-in inbuilt in the Desire's original Browser since it plays flash media!?

Which really sucks.
The few minutes I had with FroYo on my Desire were brilliant on Flash websites. No slowdown whatsoever.

Why am I running Flash 10.1 on my Froyo Nexus One then? Granted it's pre-release, but it's still Flash at its heart, and it's not intended for small screens.

You're running it because someone managed to extract the link out of an OTA update destined for journalists. That's hardly what could be called a general release.

it wont work on android 2.1 so no point even downloading that apk.
if your on 2.2 then u can just visit the adobe site and download the beta.
Is the hardware accelerated flash app in 2.2 intregrated into the whole system or just in the Stock-browser and the Youtube app ?
i have backed up the flash 10.1 it is not apk file it is a .bin
you cant install it to nexus one 2.1
It's already been said all over the net and by the creators that it will not work below 2.2. I admire your determination in trying but anything below 2.2 simply doesn't have the performance to do it.

thats because your are already using a rom with it build in. you have this app already, its born into a froyo rom from the nexuz one, and open desire is based on that

From here http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html, just install as any other .apk file.
Do note that you have to use AOSP browser with Flash (or any compatible browser). Chrome which comes stock with Nexus 4 doesn't support Flash.

Reflash stock ROM via odin! It may be the ROM/Baseband issue!
what is the base band issue

"Baseband issue means unstable ROM which is caused using old firmware"
JUST FLASH LATEST FIRMWARE FOR DUOS USING ODIN, AND CHECK IF THE PROBLEM OCCURS AGAIN OR NOT, IF IT DOES NOT OCCUR, FLASH THE ROM U WANT!

Maybe its the bug of tge ROM! Have you tried using internet in stock ROM? As alternative, try Opera Mini/UC Browser(Mini or full).

So, here is the final solution:
1. Flash stock ROM via odin
2.Check if internet works or not?
3. If it works, there is problem with the ROM XVD!
