I agree. if there are more builds for tmobUS, I think it may help solve mms and data connection freeze. But we are still very appreciative of their current builds.

I have tried probably almost every build on this forum.
They are all compatible. I am currently using Darky's newest build with excellent results.
Before that it was Mdeejays Evo; which I may go back to.
With all due respect; Give it a break. Do the research. There are many threads about how to resolve minor issues such as you describe.
I have no problems with most builds, but I did try the one tmous build recently available and it drained my battery faster than a drunk drains a pint. I had a full battery and a few hours later the phone shut down from lack of juice. That was a first.

Not only that, but CMYLXGO released a tmous compatible build before you made this thread. Please do some research before you make a post like this. And, remember the cooks are doing this for free. They're just sharing something, if you don't like it, or it doesn't work the way you want it to, learn how to customize it; or make your own.

You can patch any build , or download patched build
once i get more time and somebody actually helps me properly set up my dev environment, you'll be seeing more T-Mo US builds from me.
The whole lack of building from code is what has stopped me from doing further work.

I don't know what you guys mean US-compatible builds. AFAIK, only the APN is what should make it compatible, and, if that's the case, then all that's needed is for you to put cyanogen's APN list inside Android/root/system/etc on your SD so that it gets written to the system and make most APNs available.
You can download the newest CM APNs list from here:
http://github.com/CyanogenMod/andro...6648414c834/prebuilt/common/etc/apns-conf.xml

Completely agree, seems a great BUILD !!!!
Ok
I have tried a few builds for the HD2 and initial reaction is it does seem a good Android build. Now....if someone could make a Miui build for the HD2 with Sense type clock, then that would be something. I love the fact you can create as many screens as you wish, can move the home page, have bluetooth, wifi etc controls in the notification screen. I would be willing to give it a thorough test if someone can build it as it should be.

It has nothing really surprising.. same sense as seen on Desire HD.
Hehehe... Very nice... HD2 is not a normal mobile phone... like as our developers.
Anything new? Maybe some cool apks we can pull?
I would really enjoy a NAND version of this. I like the way this sense looks. They aren't major differences in the u.i., but there are some.
I like HTC Hub as well.
I saw this in the irc logs last day, that Mdeejay already cooked a build for HD2 and he said that the size of the system.img is 850mb in that Verizon's stuff is around 150mb which is not really good for EU HD2 Users.

TMOUS version
So has this even been revamped for the HD2 to use or is it just one that we aren't going to get? I remember when the DHD came out there was a rip for us within a week! OK, so it is a bit too big for the 512 version but I'm sure that some of us with the 1024 would love to at least try this. I know I am really curiouse as to why the system is so much larger that the DHD version of the ROM. At worst it would require a data image on the SD like so many of the ROMs have for the 512 to work on our 1024.
Now I'm no developer and I have no idea what it takes to get something like this working also I dont mean to come off wrong I was just curious.

Sounds good, but would this be for a wildfire, I am really keen to update to the latest version of Gingerbread and I am annoyed there is nothing official and this is why I am wondering whether this kind of rom might be suitable or whether I should try the wildfire s leaked version, and I am keen to help test when things get going if it would help.

When using CM or any derivitives of (maybe even AOSP) you will be connected to 3G most of the time until you download or need to use 4G then it will automaticlly switch.
With the stock rom it does not differentiate (visually) between 3G and 4G so even though you think you are on 4G all the time you might not actually be.

Is this why you have posted at least 15-20 times today in different threads with pretty much off topic useless comments? Trying to get your post count up since your account was created yesterday? I for one would never flash a Rom from some one that isnt or hasnt been a part of this community for some time. I also saw this post from you (only a hour ago) that makes me wonder....you are building Roms yet had to have help rooting a phone that is really very simple to root. This of coarse is just my two cents, and of coarse everyone is able to do what ever they want.

While you are new, I'll try that as soon as other people have given a thumbs up to it. but PLEASE try and make the gps consistent. That alone is why I'm sticking with the stock rom - any rom with good wireless data and fully functional GPS is a winner. ESPECIALLY if it's AOSP.
I saw this on a thread a while back... dial *#*#4636#*#* and then choose the first option (like phone info or something) then scroll down to where it says wcdma preferred and tap it and switch it to wcdma only and reboot and you'll be on 4g way more than before. all vanilla android (aosp) ROMs seem to have this reputation. the people who do see this usually don't have this happen all the time but seems to come in spurts and then be ok for a while.
but one thing that does NOT help the situation is jumping around flashing one new ROM / kernel / radio after another over and over in short periods of time. ..feel free to do this if you're really itching to but just don't clog up all the corresponding threads with questions or comments about your battery life, reception, data speeds, etc .... JUST EXPECT inconsistencies if you're currently indulging your flash crack addiction.
it comes with the territory.
and I'm not trying to say don't try other setups out. but if you are really on a 'quest' to find the configuration (ROM/kernel/radio/etc) that works best for YOU - do yourself a favor and give each setup 3 - 4 days AT LEAST .. ideally a week +
not only for the ROM to have a chance to settle in and show you some kind of consistency but to give your worn out phone and battery a rest!
your glacier will be a much happier little block of ice this way, believe me
happy flashing
