Uhm..
Search the Market.
This is a pointless thread.

i think a more relevant thread would be "are all these music download apps safe?"
i've used Music Downloader Pro a few times but i'm nervous that i'll get a virus or something.

Google for music junk...

I got beef the youtube app, and I'm sure they wont listen to little ol me

Does anyone else have a problem with the youtube app, being that it doesn't choose to watch videos in HQ by default. For each video I find my self racing in the menu to choose watch in high quality before the video starts. If I don't do it quick enough, the play time toggle pops up and I end up fast forwarding to the end, and then having to go to the menu again.. Why can't youtube just play HQ by default on my beautiful screen?? Anyone else feel my pain?

Use the mobile website. It's better.
Hmmm my Vibrant seems to default to HQ. Wonder why? I did just get it yesterday.
If your on wifi it defaults to hq if your on data it uses lq.
It happens to me too. I just use www.m.youtube.com
Much better and you can see new videos from your subscriptions.

I hate the media room app, as well as most of the apps that come with mysense ui... that's why I replaced some of them with stock CM6 apps, such as the music app. I like it much better, and you might as well. It will at least fix your issue.
Have to be rooted, though.
I had the same problem and found one of the video or song was bad, removed it and now it works like a charm....

download music

I dont want bull**** on here saying SAVE THE MUSIC ARTISTS, BUY THE MUSIC.
If i wanted to buy music, i would've gone on itunes with my iPhone.
Anyways, I'm looking for a good music downloader, i was always using GTunes, but i guess that got discontinued, because it doesnt work anymore, but anyothers that you can suggest?
Try downloading from www.beemp3.com straight from your phone
Nero + oclf + dow 1.3 = badassest phone on the planet!!!
ooo thats a good one, i'll start using that but are there any apps that you would recommend? I'm one of those people that look for the quickest and best way out.
If not, thanks for the beemp3 one, its great.

same here, eat **** 10char!
I got my invite and it's pretty neat. It's taking forever to upload my songs though, only because I have so much.
A word of warning, it does not work on rooted phones. You'll know it's not working for you when you can't access the "Settings" menu.
I went to stock and the music streaming works surprisingly well.
but why!!!!! i want!
Yea I got a invite but haven't had a chance to use it because of that.

Mine too. Got my invite the other day. Takes FOREVER to upload songs - and you can only upload from your PC, not the phone. It duplicated the tunes I already had copied over, so that's not too cool. Works pretty well other than that.
EDIT: nvm, works fine for me on midNIGHT rom v5.3! Had to uninstall and reinstall and then I was able to view "settings."

Got an invite last week. Aside from the agonizingly long amount of time it takes to upload my music library, it works awesomely. Also, I am rooted (running SRF 1.1.1).
works great for me; i'm rooted on the Swiss Cheese. I wish the app didn't have such a big footprint.

Works fine on mine rooted as well. I love it. It did take like two days to upload like 2500 songs, but then I got like 200 free random songs for joining which was awesome. I'm on the Anonymous ROM v6 on EE03 and it works great. Why would a google "beta" not work on a rooted device. Then everyone at the developer conference would be out of luck I guess. Haha
rooted and working fine. this is the best thing ever, mostly just because i can access my library from any pc! i <3 google!
I received my invite today (applied using a proxy). I've installed the PC software but can't get gge app to download. The link in the music player takes me to the market but the install button doesn't do anything. Does anyone know where I can get the apk?
