Wow. This is the surprise of the year.
I guess this means the Desire will get 2.2 soon.
version 3.36.661.1 appears to be newer than anything else. Maybe there is a new radio inside? Could be interesting.
Has anyone had the chance to disassemble this OTA package yet?

Can't I just download it off the Telus website? It's posted there?
I can get the update, but every time I try to apply it I boot into my custom recovery and the update fails, is there a way to remove the custom recovery software?

I am not sure where you could get the standard recovery (you would probably have to ask someone with a backup)
However can you post the update file? It is probably /sdcard/update.zip

Hmm, im looking for it on my girlfriends Hero, cant even find the option, only to set when to update. I set it to automatically, but nothing yet. Is it taking time to rollout? Or am i missing something?

No it doesn't. The mods are addicted to the delete button. Look again. No link. I've posted 5 decent posts in that thread... only one remains.
Some guys in Poland say that they got a Security Fix Update from Google today morning. So far they havent found any change besides correct polish letters in the virtual keyboard. The bulild number has changed to CRB43.
I got this just now (in the UK).
Version now reads:

Says it was a security fix and was about 4.5 megs

I was paying attention, and it was an update link. Might not of been the Cupcake update, but it was an update that somebody might find useful.
I also got the security update...

No, updated from stock rom itself
I got the update too.....updating right now....will post again if I notice any changes. It says it has performance improvements and camera enhancements in the update message. size 47 MB.

Updated my post above with what's shown on the screen. First Android device, so forgive me at being a little slow!!!! Glad I moved away from n97 mini though, the DHD is an awesome phone when putting those two side by side!

Nope.....Was sick of waiting. So i decided to install the updates via CWM . Now i have a 39_COM_GEN_1 flexrom. Everything performs really smooth now. No problems so far. I have no idea why tablets with EMEA_GEN_3 are still not getting updates..

I was tired to wait so I went for the 3.1 the vache way (1.010.22_COM_GEN1), now I'm COM_GEN1 so I'm gettting USA updates, already got .30 and .38 OTA, very happy user thanks to XDA and it's people/developes/contribuitors.
BTW in LA. (Mexico and Chile) are getting EMEA_GEN3 devices, though were not in the list weird because EMEA = Europe Middle East Africa.... or America?... Oceania (Australia) are getting EMEA too.

Same here no update yet, so installed 3.1 custom, happy with less FC and freezes.
No updates here...will wait till next week...then flash it!
nothing yet here at Mexico, but I was told by an Acer's marketing guy, over facebook, that they pulled out the update due to the Wi-Fi issues, but probably today (Friday) they would release it again with the fix in place.
Still not getting anything here in Finland and it's already 19th.

I have the same build in Switzerland and I too am still waiting on 3.1. I have no serious issues with 3.0.1 so have decided to wait, although my patience is starting to wear out...

Just recieved my preordered wifi tab in the uk.
I'm a bit surprised that it arrived before the launch party tomorrow.
It has touchwiz preinstalled and the rom vesion is KG8.
If this is a rom that has not been uploaded before let me know to to do a rom dump and i'll hook you guys up.
Liking it alot so far.
is the bootloader locked or unlocked? also do u have fastboot access ?

If you plan to root and install CW recovery me and many others would be happy to get the system.img

Make a backup in recovery, the recovery folder on sd will contain the system.img
No personal info will be in the system.img
ok, didn't realise cwm made it that easy.
Uploading now to multiupload. Its going to take about an hour as its 500MB.

MOB30G was posted about April 10th. MOB30I was posted today and is newer, includes May security updates and new bootloader.

I did the same thing. Honestly, I do not understand why Google posts two images, simultaneously, and gives us no information on what's different. At least last year, with all of the confusion on the multiple images, they posted a little bit of direction....

New bootloader , boot.img and radio (same as the 2nd N preview) it seems if i`am correct. From what i read here and there one of the images is supposedly a T-Mobile version.

The "new" radio was included previously in MOD30D, about April 11th. No need to flash it for anyone running that version.

Yup, It's my understanding that MOB contains a new radio vs MMB. They will be updating MMB until all the carriers get around to approving the new radio. Because I have an at&t sim dropped in my nexus 6, it will most likely OTA to MMB30G(with May security updates). This knowing at&t never gets in a hurry when it comes to approvals.

Good info. I haven't heard that previously. For the record, I just flashed the MOB30I on my VZW Nexus 6 and it's working fine. Did the whole fastboot flash-all deal.
