Windows Vista Portable Edition VGA 1.1 .. WHERE IS IT ?

Hey Guys..
I just got my HTC Advantage X7501, and I flashed teh room to Pawel's one.. I'm really enjoying it so far. I just bought WA2 and WAD and I was really looking forward to putting the Windows Vista Portable Edition VGA 1.1 theme on my athena, because a while ago I saw people who had it, and it looked so epic. Well, I just found out by doing a quick google search that all of these themes were removed. Now I'm really bummed because I really wanted to see my Athena running this sort of thing.
If anyone still has it on their pc, or can point me towards a link that I can find it at, it would be greatly appreciated. You can email me the info at [email protected] or send me a PM via XDA Forums if you feel you need to address me through those methods.

my humble apologies to everyone. i had a major examine in class yesterday and it completely slipped my mind. on my way home right now....give me about one and half hour.

Okay....I tried to email and upload this file. Its too big. 23mb. What else can i do? I dont know how to do the whole rapidshare thing. Willing to learn though!!

Post it on the forums, when you reply to the thread, there is an option to attach a file. You shoudl see it when you click post reply. Should be next to attachments or something like that.

Yeah, that is what I tried to do. But the file is so big, it canceled out and told me to contact the administration. This was after 10mins of waiting to attach.
Any other options?

On the page, you browse for the file and press OK, and click upload, I think that is pretty straightforward. When you're done, you can copy and paste the link either here on the forums, or you can just email it to me.

BTW....this skin was created by the legendary Xcilion. May the artist resurface again with an even more impressive theme!!!!

Reason for: I know the artist/skinner who created this was asked to discontinue it by Microsoft. Why? I have know idea!! So I dont want to get into any mess with this.

Love the post - but even better love the post before this one as shown on the screenshot... while asking this question and wondering, 20-25 minutes before the question was asked there is posted extracted img file of GingerDude ... I know it's not complete build but you can imagine since this fast extraction worked - Leo is gonna have gingerdude very very soon :L)

Gingerbread has not been released for any current device. why don't we just wait till there is a n1 release and then we can have at it?

If people do not like multiple threads, complainers, then why contribute to them by taking up space and jabbering comments? Kinda contradicktory; if the DEVS don't like it then they'll delete it, simple.

+1 ...i totally agree. some get ignorant for no reason. it's like they try to belittle others.try to sound one step smarter than the next person..and for what? what do you gain? i also hate when someone takes advantage of the post system and talks down to someone with less posts.
just because one has less posts then another doesn't mean they know any less. it just means they recently joined this forum. doesn't mean they are noobs.

Correct me if I am wrong here but since 2.3 is a revision of 2.2 wouldn't it be a case of just updating the kernel and booting away??
Eg relatively minor work compared to the whole getting android on to HD2 in the first place.

Oh hell yeah. Saw this earlier, but didnt even realise that it was my post that you were talking about. Biff has already tried to start booting, but no luck yet. Motoman and M-deejay are on it as well.

geez you guys i post a topic and ofcourse some "smart" people who don't get the question ansewr as harsh as they can just to prove their "i'm a big important guy".
the question i posted was majorly mistaken as i tried to be retoric. to those who still don't get it better question could be "how long do you think our developers will need to get gingerbread working, share your thoughts!"
as i'm long time member of this site i can now perfectly see why some newbie users are afraid of asking and rather pay for complete tut how to get android workin on ebay and similar.
such big site should be open to new users because they can become potential developers (they get into it and get addicted...).
i know that flaming will still exist nomather what i write here, but, atleast if you can, answer to the new users, make good tutorials, suggest stickies to mods! this will keep our train rollin.

long time ago i discover this forum with my first HTC Universal in my hand..and i love it here..
now with hd2 i learned so much about wm year by year.. so at this time i am ADDICTED full respect to devs and newebies booth is needed to keep this in friendly and going forward continuum.. i reply rarely but this is "must" quick reply salute to all members.. be friendly and helping each other.

Testers wanted

Hello all.
I'm the developer of MikFroYo for the htc evo and i am trying to take a shot at making desire hd roms as well.
obviously since i dont own the device i cannot test it my self and i would like some help from who ever is wiling to take a shot at a new rom.

i hope so man... im basically almost done rebuilding all the apks... but i dont really have a device to test it on.
im working towards making lang specific roms with multi color themes and much more.
i hope someone that has time to test and talk on gchat a little bit while testing it will step up.

Looks like you've put a lot of hard work and effort into it so it would great to have a DHD version.
My suggestion would be to ask a mod to move this thread to Development Section as I think you'll get more exposure for it there. I think a lot of the more regular members spend all their time in the ROM threads in Dev Section and forget to ever look in here or Q&A!

i posted here cuz i want do get lost by all the other graet roms... but i guess u have a good valid point.
i just thought it would be better to skip the rom dev cuz i dont have a rom out yet.

ok i dont see why people are having such a hard time obtaining these serial codes i have done it 3 different time....u make up a a legit email one that you will never use go to microsoftdotcom go all the way to the buttom click contacts us choose the chat method click on product sales and general inquire or some like that its the first option.....chat box will open type in fake name that secondary email and just put that you bought a phone either craigslist or ebay and you need the serial code in order to create a live account they will ask for your name and number those can be fake use your ex's if you have to...they will generate a code and voila! there you go...not rocket science......to prove i have a code here if anyone wants it be the first one to reply to this....

lol i should lol...but naw u got me thinking.....i been a member of this site for years...from my first tmobile mda and counntless craigslist trades to get me a brand new hd2....i been downloading files from rooting g1's to unlocking hd7's n hd2's all the way to palm pres n pixies...i think its time to contribute a bit....so ill be opening a new thread and i hope its ok with the mods...were i can hopefully get serial codes for anyone who needs them....sooooo look out for that thread u guys!!!!

no really i hope you dont, MS has been very very good to so far, putting things like that in the public eye will only increase the chances of MS becoming a royal pain in the arse with things.

dont worry i woulnt dare...for two reasons...1)dont want some lawsuit my way lol 2) its free...so no reason why i should profit from it....just like my little side prodjects i do here at home....i post craigslist post up for anyone that wants to make a drive up to my house ill root their android device free of charge...yeah some actually donate 5 bucks here 10 there but other then that i dont ask for anythig...takes up 10 mins of my life that i was already planning on wasting on nothing so no worries on that

i think he had other things to deal with and that he was "looking for something else" the V2 with Xboxmod was his leaving gift for us all
I also got the feeling that he got a lot of stick for what he did, from people who shall remain nameless
In my humble opinion I think that him doing what he did for us, kind of made "others" look bad, but lets not turn this in to a name and shame thread.
The chap was a legened, with help from many others on here he helped get give us not only a working Mango but also an updatable HD2.
Unless anyone else knows anything more perhaps we should just leave it with that...

Its really bad to see a dev like him that did such great things to leave xda.I hope he come back.

He did a fantastic job, I'm sure we all hated to see him go.

Only time will tell if we see Yuki back but lets respect him and leave it like it is.
I think that Yuki still looks at xda so now and then , so Yuki Thanks for all you did for us and I hope you will find other things that make you happy.

Thanks timmymarsh, bit of a pain though having the account deleted when you are trying to find a quote from him using search. Is there a way to reactivate it but possibly with a permanent ban or something? (I know, sacrilege. Let the flaming start!).

I was simply referring to all the bla bla bla concerning LEOs' hardware "Incompatibilities" that made MS look so stupid and lazy in the end =D
