I have a Galaxy S Vibrant i9000m from Bell in Canada and I flashed the bionix-final-stock rom on it and following problems happened:
1) When phone is connected to usb, it goes in a boot loop.
2) I have no audio now (except when i receive a call, or the alarm goes off)
3) Vol. up and down are inverted
4) When headphones are connected, phone acts like there's no headphones connected and when there is no headphones connected, it acts like there is headphones connected. This is basically explains the problem with no audio.
I restored my old (stock) rom using nandroid and the problems still persist. Also flashed another different rom and again the same thing. I was thinking of using odin but i wasn't able to find the right firmware for Bell. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Well. Bell's Vibrant is not actually a Vibrant (although called like one) Basically you flashed incorrect rom onto it. Try flashing back to stock with ODIN. Bell's version is International version Galaxy S GT-I9000M

Hi all,
A little while ago I screwed up one of the software tweaks in the app 'Galaxy S Tweaker', then my phone would not boot. So I decided I might as well attempt to flash an I9000 Froyo ROM (can't remember the exact one at them moment, but either JP3 or JM5, I think.) and it is running great! except for one pretty big thing...my phone doesn't work as a, well, phone. It simply says: 'no service' and I'm obviously not able to send/receive text messages or calls.
Before I had 'bricked' my phone, I had it unlocked and running fine on the Telus network here in Canada. (I used the popular method as detailed in a different XDA thread, but it would seem as though Samsung has patched that, because I tried that method again, but to no avail.)
I would also like to note that I have tried 2 online unlocking services, and BOTH of them have come up negative, saying they can't retrieve an unlock code for my device!
Does anyone know what the problem could be?
Thanks,
Dylan
Hey ive had a rooted s3 for a while now it was already done when i bought it months ago..... i decided to put 4.3 on it i thought i did it all right but obviously ive done something wrong since it now says emergancy calls only, i have tried;
taking the battery and sim out
wiping all user data and cache via the up, power and home button
I have reinstalled numerous software BTU and international and past firmwares, tried using the csc changer cause at one point it was KOR not BTU, ALL ROMS BEING STOCKS....
I have recently tried installing a Custom rom..... CYANOAGEN 4.3 (stable) which im under the impression is a custom mod anyways?????
Now i am completly puzzled ive searched numerous sites including this one but noone ever seems to have quite the same information i have on the device status or situation explanations so i thought id put this out there... erm im in the uk if that matters... and a fast response will be most helpful i will be attaching me device info screen shots OH AND BTW I HAVE A SIGNAL AND IT ASKS ME WHEN I TURN THE PHONE ON 02 MONTHLY, 02 PAY AND GO AND TESCO WHICH I AM ON GIFFGAFF (GIFFGAFF WORKS ON THE O2 NETWORK FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT DONT KNOW)

Assuming by going to 4.3, your IMEI changed to EFS v2. If you ever want to go back to stock just flash XXEMG4 (4.1.2) or any 4.3 stock firmware
Hi all,
I recently bought a Galaxy S4 337M that was rooted and loaded with a custom ROM. I decided to go back to stock so went to sammobile.net and got the latest rogers firmware for my galaxy S4 (which they said was 4.3).
I loaded with ODIN, all went well, rebooted stock, but the max signal icon I can get now is 4G (even though I used speedtest and am getting close to LTE download speeds I think). Any idea why my LTE is gone ? Did I download the wrong ROM ?
I also noticed that none of the APN settings were there and no rogers apps were installed either. Makes me wonder if it was indeed a stock rogers rom after all.
Another strange thing is that it shows me a bell canada navigator update is available in the google play store, yet its not even on my phone. Regardless, even if its a Bell ROM by some chance, Bell Canada has LTE as well, so I am confused.
Btw I used the standard ltemobile APN settings that I always use on all my phones to get LTE (that always work)....
Any help or suggestions would be really appreciated, thanks so much !!!
My iPhone shows LTE using the same SIM...
PS. If I do need to get an original Rogers ROM, is sammmobile not the best place lol ? Any other places to go??

I believe that all I337M uses that same firmware but you need a CSC changer to make it change to your carrier as they don't release the specific ones with the carrier apps.
Search "Samsung CSC" in the play store and you should get one.
Thanks for the reply.
Seems I need root - which I deleted when doing a factory restore.
The strange thing is that it was supposed to be a rogers based firmware that I downloaded and flashed.
Maybe something went wrong in the flash.
Will try again.
And check out the CSC
i have a bell i337m and i have the same issue when flashing from a "custom rom to stock" and i have to flash the firmware using odin a second time and than i get my LTE icon enstead of the 4G icon, sounds weird and i can't explain why it takes 2 flashes to get it to show up proper, but it does.
i also have the problem with missing phone vendor apps, the second flash also makes these show up too.
also another thing i noted about my phone is if i don't root and install recovery to wipe, odin will dirty flash my roms, even though odin is supposed to wipe it isn't.
i've tested this to no ends, the results are 100% the same everytime.

After flashing the stock Rom, go back into stock recovery and wipe data and cache, then reboot that should fix it. To fix your csc issue there is a way to do it by dialling a number on your dialpad which includes your imei number then you choose a specific code. Search for it, google
Sent from my SGH-I337M using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Thanks so much for the replies and help.
I wiped the rom just for fun and rebooted and noticed that its actuality a BELL ROM (all stock BELL apps etc), but when I entered my rogers APN settings it still only showed H+, maybe due to network differences. It's frustrating because I specifically selected a Rogers S4 ROM from Sammobile.net. Any idea where I can get a stock rogers ROM for s4? Also do you think this may have affected my 4G/LTE issue ??
Either way, I will definitely flash the correct ROM twice, and then go back into stock recovery to to wipe data and cache.
Thanks again for all your help

follow this guide, http://www.droidviews.com/how-to-change-csc-in-samsung-galaxy-phones/ real easy, itll put you back to a rogers rom, all the firmwares on sammobile are BELL ROMS. you have to change the CSC yourself.
THAT WORKED
Thanks so much !!!
Hi,
I recently was getting frustrated with the ROM Gummy. ROM GUMMY: (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2563973) so i wanted to try something new and never thought i'd get a problem as when i flashed GUMMY it was so simple and everything worked.
However, when i flashed to the ROM S4 Google Edition: (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2544474) i noticed my signal / network won't stay connected. It may work for 2mins then disconnect - so i tried another ROM thinking it was caused by the S4 Google Edition.
I'm now currently on KOT49H【4.4.2】Google Play Edition (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2557353) and still getting no signal, only if i keep changing it to automatically find a network.
I've been reading it could do with Modems, or have i really messed something up and won't be able to fix my phone? I'm sort of new to this all so if you could explain more than tell me to do something that would be great.
Phone: Samsung S4 i9505
Baseband Version: i9505DVUBMGG1
Network Provider: GiffGaff (o2 Company)
Any help would be great.

You have to flash a new modem for 4.4 like nb9. If you have a bootloader without knox, flash only the modem.bin file. If you have knox, flash modem and non-HLOS.bin. there's a nice modem thread in the general section.:good:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192025

Hello guys. I have the n900t, I am now running tweaked s5 base n4 style v6.0. And I run alot of n9005 ROMS as well. With that said here is my issue. For only the past few weeks ( month tops) every time i make or recieve a phone call my data drips down to hspa. The second i hit call and right before my phone rings is when it happens. After my call the data takes a very long time to jump back up. This is a new issue and i have no idea what it is. However, i did flash back to a stock ROM and the issue was solved. And i forget which rom it was but it was soley TE based and there were no issues. I did try to flash a modem but it didnt take. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Or can anyone suggest a fix for it.
Thank you for your help.
bump.
Still having the issue. I tried to flash a new modem and it just failed anyway. Dont know if I should try a radio. I just cant fivure out why this happened out of no where. I was fine no matter what ROM I was running. Now...this crap. Please guys, 40 people saw this, can SOMEBODY please help.

1) Quite strange - your picture suggests you are on Verizon yet you comment about a N900T in the forum for the INTERNATIONAL Note 3. On what network are you? Are you aware that there might be network-specific factors involved which could only be visible for other users on exactly the same network in exactly the same region?
2) Try stock ROM (with corresponding stock modem) from a location with very good signal.
5 he physical device is an n900t, however, I am running as of now, the hyper drive note 5 port with n4 UI. When I do flash back to a full stock TW ROM all is good, A FEW TW based ROMs seem to be OK. Like this one, the calls do not affect the data signal. But most ROMs do effect it in that way. You said that it shows I'm running Verizon?
But I am very curious why all of the sudden I am having this issue. I have never had it before. Except with a few specific AOSP based ROMs. I just can't figure out what it is that's causing it. I have done vigorous wipes of the phone to no avail.
And I am in Philadelphia so there really is no place that is actually bad reception (except in the susubways of course...lol)
And thank you for your reply.

1) Your avatar mentions Verizon for some reason.
2) If it is all OK with the stock ROM then it is a problem with the custom ROM, ask in the specific thread for that specific ROM. Most likely it has something to do with the modem and the corresponding RIL.
So when ever a new ROM is flashed the modem is flashed as well. Unless the dev says otherwise?
