I really like the taskbar in the Shadow Frost rom version 1.4. However I really want it on sense roms. I need the black taskbar with the blue battery and other blue icons. Can someone point me in the direction of where to find a flashable zip for this taskbar.
Shokouhi
when you download the rom you want, just open it with winrar, don't extract it. then go to /system/framework/framework-res.apk file and open it with winrar. DON'T close any of the zips you opened.
then open shadowfrost 1.4 and go again to /system/framework/framework-res.apk file, open it with winrar again.
now drag and drop the files from framework-res.apk\res\drawable-hdpi-v4\ folder from shadowfrost into framework-res.apk from the rom you want to flash. this way you'll replace all files.
take a look first at the file statusbar_background.png to have the same name and not statusbar_background.9.png.
now close all zips/apks, it will ask to update the files, click yes and flash your rom
I tried doing this to Jason .22 blur rom and after doing this it will not boot so I must flash a different rom. The files must be incompatible. I would just like his taskbar in a zip do you know how to do this?
Hello,
I'm facing a problem where I'm unable to apply UOT themes on my Gingerbread/Sense rom . I'm currently running InsertCoin CM7/A2SD+ v02, and extracted the framework_res, as well as SystemUI from the ZIP but still I cant get it to work.
No matter what I try nothing changes. Can anyone help me?
What's going wrong exactly?
EDIT: When you've chosen the stuff you want, check the Summary area and make sure there are no red boxes indicating something is incompatible/wrong

if you cook framework and systemui - it means you changing system theme. So after flashing UOT, select "System" theme in ThemeChooser.

unzip your ROM and put
-SystemUI.apk from the app_s folder
-framework-res.apk from the framework_s folder
from the unzipped ROM
load this 2 files in "UOT File upload" up
then cooked your file and download it.
download this file h ttp://dl.dropbox.com/u/18354786/black_circle-bat_flying.zip
then unzip your kitchen file and black_circle-bat_flying.zip.
put your kitchen SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk.
copy this files in to the follow dirs:
-SystemUI.apk to the black_circle-bat_flying/app_s folder
-framework-res.apk to the black_circle-bat_flying/framework_s folder
then zip it, now you can flash this file in recovery.
the black_circle-bat_flying.zip works with InsertCoin CM7/A2SD+ v03 data++ version.
i have used the installscript from alexdiaz themediazGingerMix7.
i hope its allowed to use this script, if not ok then i delete the zip.

Extract cyanbread.apk from the rom zip
Change the filename to whatyouwant.apk
upload the apk to kitchen under the cm theme Upload In file upload
change theme chooser preview to ldpi/mdpi
Do what ever mods you want making sure you select ldpi
flash the zip given by kitchen once done
then open Theme chooser app in cm7
find the name of your theme (what you named the apk)
Apply theme
select apply anyway

You don't - you can only use the Icons on kitchen
if you want to use yours just make a theme on kitchen as explained with any Icons then extract the apk with winrar & replace any pngs you want with yours - zip back up & flash

If they are not named the same as what you are replacing you will have to rename them all manually - the battery is only the number that is different so you can copy & paste most the name & just add number
