I have the latest ROM (2.16.9.1) on a K-Jam.
I have push email working wonderfully with my Exchange 2003 SP2 server. However, I think it's with this latest ROM, the phone fails to sync when I delete an object, be it an email or a calendar item. I have to tell it to sync manually.
Does anybody else have this behavior?
I'm running on Fresh 2.0d with the LWP update but I noticed this issue on DamageControl v2.07
With the native email client I'm able to configure and connect to Exchange and sync email and contacts, however I run into an issue with syncing the calendar. Exchange was recently upgraded from 2007 to 2010 but on an older hero running Darchlegend 4.2.2 the calendar can sync with no issues so I'm inclined to believe the issue is around the newer leak builds. Does anyone have any insight or encountering any issues syncing the calendar to 2010? I checked in Exchange and there just aren't that many settings and I can't think of anything specific that would allow connectivity to sync mail and contacts but not calendar.
Thanks in advance
Hey all,
Loving the new ROM, currently running Energy's version of 23569, updated last night to the July 8th edition.
My only prblem is that I can synch with my Outlook using our Exchange at the office (Exchange 2003), the phone will synch, tell me it is downloading contacts, tasks, emails, etc. The contacts seem to come in fine, I get no calendar items, and I get 1 days worth of emails. When I then adjust the settings to download 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month or even all emails, I see the counter going up on the emails it is saying it is synching successfully, but I still only end up with the 1st days worth of email.
Very annoying.
Anyone having a similar problem running 23569 synching Outlook via Exchange 2003?
On the old TMO ROM, all emails worked flawlessly, but the phone side was near useless.
Would kind of like to get phone AND email functioning properly.
Thanks!
Neill
Well, I did a Task29 on my 23569 build, and reinstalled the 23569...made no difference, still got no calendar events and only 1 days worth of emails.
Task29 again and installed build 21905 and my emails are all downloading.
Must be some sort of quirk with 23569 and synching with Exchange 2003 server.
Will live off of build 21905 until we update our server to Exchange 2010.
Maybe something with the rom you're using but not 23569. I've been running this on various roms, Kumar, Entery, Core, never have had an issue with Exchange syncing.
I'm using Miri's 17.6. My main folders are syncing fine. I'm pulling a months worth of emails. But if I choose addtional folders to sync, they show they are waiting, but haven't updated. We are using Exchange 2003 also. Would like to know if newer Exchange versions are having this problem?
Hi all
My HD2 is running the standard T-Mobile ROM (I know!) and has been working fine using an over the air sync my Exchange server. However, in the last few days both mine and my bosses HD2's have stopped syncing the calendar from Exchange to the HD2. Emails, contacts etc are fine. Appointments added to the phone sync back to Exchange and appear in Outlook, but any appointments added to Outlook do not sync back the other way. I have tried removing the server partnership and adding again, have rebooted the server etc.
Any suggestions would be great!
Tom.

hi,
i have a HTC HD2 and try to make a change to Android.
Important for me is that the sync to my exchange account is ok.
I tried several Android SD versions.
(Current: Android 4.1.1 JBSourcery Build)
The sync of the emails and contact is fine.(As far i can see)
But the sync of the calendar is weird.
The "normal" appointments seems to be a ok,
but somtimes birthdays are:
- not in the calendar (the contact is there and the right birthday in it)
- begin at the wrong time (i changed the time in the calendar (exchange) to 8:00 till 23:59)
Depending from the Android version it is better or worse.
And the error is on different contacts and changes with the Android version.
Any idea what causes the problem?
suggestion for a stable Android SD version?
what are the requirements on the HD2? (radio etc.)
Any infos you need?
kind regards

Hi,
i tried some tools.
In the moment acalendar is the only tool that shows all data in a correct status.
So it seems to be a problem between our exchange server and the basic calendar software.
Thanks anyway.
