yeah, I have read this too. ... rumors ... I also read something about a video output as well ... damn how long do we have to wait ? Is there any event in the near future when the omni could be announced? What is the most likely time when we can buy the htc universal successor ? The HTC Universal could be bought in august 2005 (Germany T-Mobile) 7 months after it was announced ... *shrugh*
The next most likely place (if it's anywhere near ready) would be at 3GSM in early Feb... So not that long to wait...
And then after that, maybe Cebit in Germany in March/April time frame...

yeah, some of the first batch of notes sold online were the polish plus carrier locked model. i bought mine online here in australia and it ended up being the polish model, we've been slow to get updates. our last update was KKA.
just completed the update.
we are now on.

ahh yeah, I think I got lucky, my wife bought mine for me in November and I got the Debtel German model... so while I too am in Australia I've been getting pretty regular updates...
besides i get polish Orange carrier (non branded) Note and its still on kka officially ;p thanks god for odin
It's also sad what happened here a few weeks ago. Samsung spent a lot of money to promote the Galaxy Note, renaming the main subway station with "Sol Galaxy Note" and putting there people all day showing it. The problem is that they had only 3 units and all running KKA firmware. I pointed out that to the people there and they did not seem to even have an idea of what a ROM is.
If they want to show the device, load it with the best firmware available and up to date programs, not just the demo video.
So my parents are at Berlin, Germany right now.
I was promised to get the One when it gets to my country (Israel) and I have read in another thread that the One has been available in Germany for a week. So anyone knows where can my parents buy the One in Berlin? I can't wait anymore :crying:

O2 was the First carrier which had the One available in Berlin. Due to very limited Shop supply (2-3 devices per Shop) i had mine delivered. Would try there nevertheless.
Hi there! My beloved Note4 has a motherboard issue. I bought a different phone, but still wanna fix my good old Samsung. I found some replacement boards on Aliexpress, eBay but they all come from far, takes 4-5 weeks to receive them. As I'm travelling a lot, relocating frequently (guest artist) it isn't a solution for me. Does anyone know a source where i could receive a motherboard from within a week or so? I'm currently in Vienna, Austria for about 2 weeks. Thanks in advance!
