I really love transparent themes and stuff, does anyone know a simple way of changing the notification bar in supervillain rom, making it transparent? A zip file would be niiiiiiiiiice.
I have tried the battery c mod from here which I read worked.

OpenDesire isn't a Sense ROM. So I don't know where you're going with this one..
There are some themes here and there - But I guess the Sense HD ROM is the way to go if you want to theme everything.
Yes, but I want my Sense UI to look like OpenDesire(colors are white) and i also seen some themes for sense ui with white bars but they were wrong for me(I installed them and cant load) Can anybody advise suitable theme?
can't you change the statusbar in framework-res.apk? or in htc.resources.apk?
May be I can but I dont know how)
And will it also change bottom bar?
I have found Expresso-Theme for Sense but it's black too. Is there any white theme???
In the Kitchen theme here in this forum, you can customise almost evrything like %batery, icons, notification bar colors and type, etc, etc.
May be we are talking about different kitchens but i used one and recived white fantastic top bar and black bottm bar. it was awful

Desperate waiting for someone to come up with a theme that has 50% semi-transparent statusbar for Oxygen Gingerbread.
Or rather, just the statusbar without theme.
Tried to modify using Ninjamorph, but device would just restart and restart.
So if someone can do it, or give advice on how i can put it there, please help.
Desire
Oxygen 2 Rc6
S-Off
Rooted
Id also like a fully transparent status bar for Oxygen RC7.
I've played around with the framework but couldn't get anything to work

can't make it work
maybe someone can provide a semi-transparent statusbar .zip please
Not only the status bar semi transparent but a full theme
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=852023
I would love a transparent status bar always, on any ROM I use.
I know there are ways to do this yourself, customize it in a way.
but i've read and its pretty hard, thinking of doing this every time after I flash a new rom.
I dont like a full theme, but i do like to have a transparent status bar on my homescreen, like the one in MIUI for example.
Maybe its possible for theme developers here to create a flashable transparentstatusbar.zip for some of the main AOSP roms, oxygen, cyanogen, villain
I would appreciate it a lot.
yup ..... yup .... yup

Oh i was unclear. What i meant was, just the statusbar, not the statusbar menu (although the menu is very nice as semi-transparent too)
Thanks anyway

I'd like one too.
It's amazing, i have searched through all internet, and still not found working solution... tried different framework files and always ended up in boot-loop.
how hard can it be?!
Why MIUI rom has transparent status-bar and oxygen or cyanogen not?
It seems weird to have old-school win98 style (or worse) status-bar, wen we have such power in our phones nowadays. And I assume that if MIUI can do it, it should be possible...
I hope that someone figure out a working solution. I will thank this guy in advance
Hey guys, anyone know of a way to get a transparent navbar and status bar like the one in this thread? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1882394 I'd rather not switch roms since I like CM so much. Does anyone know what I need to mod in systemUI or wherever to get this to work?
Edit: meant to post in Themes + Apps
+1, I too would like to know how to do this. I am on rasbeanjelly and unfortunately there's no option here.
Go for JellyBeer, its based on cm with a bit more customization, I have flashed it today, and I love it!
Tapalked with a Nexusâ´
It's generally an option built into ROMs. Paranoid android and aokp definitely have it but I can't speak for others. I don't know of any mod that can attach this functionality to your current rom.
Just an FYI though, this will not make status bar/nav bar transparent for anything other than your homescreen. That is because only launchers draw underneath the status and nav bar so you can make them transparent to see what's underneath. No other app does this. No mod or rom will be able to make transparent for anything other than homescreen

I know. I just want it on the homescreen. It's not in cm, but there's code that lets other roms use it, so that means there is a way for a mod to be made. Or I could do it myself, I just need to know what code to input.

Does anyone have clue, why when i use stock wallpaper the status bar is transparent, and when i use custom one it's not?
Thanks in advance.
Its coded that way in your lg home theme. If you change wallpaper it will add shaded notification on top of your new wallpaper. If you don't like that then you can use root explorer to modify any of the available themes out there. Or even easier would be to use exposed for G2
Hi. I am just a newbie, an average guy who only knows how to theme using xposed. I have my Grand Prime XCU 4.4.4 to 5.0.2 already and themed some like my status bar using Flat Style Colored bars. I wanted to color my notification bar the way Flat Style Clored bars does to my status bar. Is it possible? If not, Can anyone please make my notification panel (I meant the Blue color) a lil bit blurry? Like a foggy glass maybe. Also the icons when pressed to white not the usual green. Hehehe. Thanks!
u need to decompile system apps using apktool. i wont teach u how to use apktool. ofcourse it does not end there, u have to know basic theming. probably systemui.apk can be found in system/app partitions but if u want to change everything on the notification panel. u have to decompile the frameworks. google it
