Just disable the auto restore feature in your security settings...

I was updating apps the other day and I noticed lookout scanning the market app that auto downloaded. Now there is no auto update in the downloads. Anyone else have this?

Yea went through the same thing. Just install the 2.2 market apk. Then problem fixed. Look for it under the themes and apps area. Easy fix!

Maybe it's a problem with this version because I can't download the 3.5.2 version to update my app.

Just wondering if you used the new sprint billing setting to download this? When I tried to download beautiful widgets I tried the new bill to sprint account option. Not sure if that is what is messed up or not.
Even after re-installing the ROM it shows this as purchased but still won't let me download it. I guess I will wait and see if it shows up on my bill.
I keep reading how that rom give people problems try really flashing the rom or flash a djffrent rom serif that changes anything.

Ive fixed it once by going to apps under settings, closing google services framework and clearing the app data. if that doesn't do it I would start from scratch.

Try using rom manager to download and flash the most current Google apps pack. That should work...
Dispatched at the Speed of Light from my XOOM
Search for the new market on 4shared, install it then.

u can use link2sd to freeze(disable) system apps easily.
No I mean like when you go to setting and select a system app then the gb has the unclickable unistall button but is there way to modify that to change into disable. Thanks anyways.
