download a recovery image file, boot into fastboot and flash using the fastboot command.
Once you have your recovery you can flash superSU
command: fastboot flash recovery recoveryFileName.img

i have flashable zip,but i don't want to install there by recovery...i would like to flash them via fastboot on ubuntu terminal.

download the factory image from google. Then you can extract all of the xxxx.img and flash those via fastboot.
My relative's A500 has TWRP 2.1.3 running (extremely old version) and I'm trying to replace it with CWM 6.0.4.5. I did the following in fastboot
fastboot erase secboot
fastboot flash secboot recovery.img
But when I boot into recovery it's still TWRP . What am I doing wrong? The tablet is running Skrilax_CZ V8 bootloader, I want to update that to V9 and the use CWM to be safe since that's what's recommended in the thread. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Figured it out, have to boot into second boot :silly: . Mods can close this thread
