According to Marketwatch HTC and TomTom have struck a deal to put Tomtom maps onto HTC Android smartphones, the first phones being the aforementioned Desire Z and HD.
This is only good news with no downside, TomTom is recognised as a world leader in Sat navs, so to get them on our phones for free is a massive plus.

I do hope this will make its way on to the HD2 DHD builds
I'd be very doubtful of that. TomTom said they're stopping development for the mobile platform because of piracy. They've decided to develop purely for their own hardware.
Anyway, the free navigation app that comes with Android is very good. Any satnav that succesfully gets me through central London is good enough in my book!
TomTom doesnt even come close to Google Nav in my book and I used TomTom on WinMo for a long time.

I am looking for a software guru to help me put WM6 on this phone, it is not made by HTC. I would pay even more if the WM6 had my own splash images on it. This is not a hobby thing and I have real money to pay for someone who can help me out, it would not be a one time thing either I would have other things to do down the road. [email protected] if your interested or reply here. You can be anywhere, Russia to China. I am in USA.

Hey developers,
on http://iphone.wordpress.org/ those iPhone idiots are showing off quite a lot. "Worlds most elegant phone" blablabla
Well, is here someone who could develop a very good Wordpress app for WM? I checked already http://sampath.wordpress.com/moblog/ and quite a lot of other stuff, but none of them made me happy.
This must be possible!
Just found this one, looks promising.

writer for windows mobile doesnt work on my htc hd2!! im so mad now, waster my half an hour. can anyone suggest me other softawre
i also tried moblog, pocket sharp, none of which is working! damn windows mobile
Hi nestleomega,
I have worked in “Pocket sharp”, it’s easy to handle. Did you ever use it? It may help you out.
I currently use Diarist 2 (freeware) and Cellspin (paid), both work great on my wordpress blog!
I've had the Evo for 3 months now. Compared to my prior "top of the line WM6" phone, there's just no comparison. This system borders on miraculous for all it can do and its flexibility. I'm just so impressed and thrilled to own one.
There's some hiccups. I've had to return 2 and am on my 3rd phone - but so what, these things wrock.
Appreciate our huge community of devs and programmers who enhance the experience.

Well its not surprising considering WM6 is a slight upgrade from WM5, which came out almost 6 years ago!
Microsoft really dropped the ball on windows mobile. They never upgraded the interface, even after the iphone came out, which pretty much guaranteed their decline.

Will Microsoft make a WP7 Sense? It would be so awesome!!!!
What do you need this for when you already have the tremendously crap HTC HUB
I found concept of human killing space washing machine on google, so what? Concepts (all of them) means nothing.
This is a concept by someone who has no connection to Microsoft or HTC at all.
Its a concept and nothing more and it won't be possible to create this home screen (although it looks very nice) - for now. Just wait and see what happens, WP7 is young and maybe will bring us as much developing abilities as android! Just be patient

Tune In Radio Pro is available from getjar for FREE.
unfortunately for me, ive just bought it from the market just a few days ago. oh well best streaming solution i've seen yet - offering the ability to listen (& record) thousands of stations on yr mobile or web. excellent!
despite the URL indicating this download is exclusively for the HTC Desire - it'd be good to let others know what phone you have got it working on.
if you think thanks, hit thanks. thanks
Tune In
Thank you for the post
