Hello pro's over here. Just wanted to know, is there any 3 button combos for GT540 in case i bricked my phone? My phone version is still 1.6 anyways.
Bump!
Anyone?
There are no three button combos to get your bricked phone booting normally back to a fresh 1.6 O.S, or 2.1 O.S. But for most cases just booting your phone into recovery mode and flashing the 1.6 kdz file into it will solve the problem.
And how do i do that? Odin3 v1.3?

Hi All
I have a Dell Streak which was on 1.6 and I tied to update to 2.2. Problem is I tried to upgrade from 1.6 to 2.2 before going to 2.1. The Streak just sits on the Dell boot logo. I can access clockword recovery and flash images but i cant access fastboot as device does not get picked up my laptop. I have held down both volume buttons on the phone and selected the power button to bring up options. But I also cant run update.pkg (renamed stock 1.6 update) as phone goes into clockwork recovery and that doesnt allow me to run pkg files. I will be grateful for any advice as I am worried that i may have bricked it for good.
Hey dont worry as long as streak boots to Dell logo we can make it work
Now answer this
Do you know how to flash files through Fastboot?
Also I need to know whats device status when you connect it to ur laptop
In Device manager. Does it say
1.unknow device
or
2. A exclamation on Android phone
The phone can be picked in Fastboot mode on the PC. It shows as android phone. I dont know how to flash in this mode and what files to flash. I would be grateful if someone can show me.
UPDATE
I have managed to restore to stock. Thanks. Do I have to update to official 2.1 before going to DJ Steve's 2.2 rom?

okay so ive have flashed my LG GT540 with Cyanogen Mod 7,
i want to remove it
ive back to the original firmware
ive tried
volume up button, home button and search button and that dont work for me
is there any other way i can Hard reset my phone?
I believe going back to stock 2.1 is little more harder than that, but i'm curious too, if it's doable, ill reconsider it for sure..miss that battery life from stock 2.1..
Flash a 2.1 Fastboot enabled KDZ. Download and open Mur4ik's SwiftBootloaderBuilder and select 'Remove fastboot and Recovery'. It would bring your phone to the state it was before.
@tejasdj12
would you be able you find me a video of something showing me what to do?
I managed to brick my Sprint Intercept the other day.
I was having problems with the WIFI and Bluetooth so I figured flashing a custom rom may solve the problem. I downloaded and installed BasicROM 1.7 and then rebooted. The phone shows the progress bar and then hangs at the Samsung screen. Holding the button combos for Download/Recovery mode doesnt work. I had also installed CM01 before hand. Even before installing the Custom ROM I wasnt able to enter Download/Recovery on boot. Any ideas of what to do?
Also, I was able to ADB at one point but I accidentally cleared Cache/Data which im guessing turned off Debug mode and now I cant get ADB nor Fastboot to see my phone now.
Did you backup?
NookColor Cyanogenmod 7.1 "Overclocked"
Unfortunately no
Just install another rom, hopefully its a stable rom then backup
NookColor Cyanogenmod 7.1 "Overclocked"
How do I do that without Recovery Mode/ADB?
I thought u had recovery?
HTC Wildfire S VM "S-Off" "Rooted" Stock Rom
Nope. No recovery. I cant get my phone to boot into it nor Download mode. Even before the brick.
Welll it sounds bricked to me man, sorry bout that, always back up, I learned the hard way
HTC Wildfire S VM "S-Off" "Rooted" Stock Rom
Well thanks for helping me out dude. Have good.
i might be able to help, try pulling the battery for about 20mins, reinstall it then power-up (no cables attached) holding the vol-down power and call button, if nothing, then pm me
i Was trying to get rid of the hissing noise on my
Lg g2 D802
i had TWRP installed
I read in a trhead that flashing the dorimanx kernel should fix that problem.
So i tried flash it, but instead of flashing the D802 i flashed the D800, i know i'm an idiot :/
I had a backup stock kernel but i think that's a wrong one too, again i'm an idiot
Now my phone boots into a black screen within the left top corner:
[2800] Fastboot mode started
[2850] udc_start()
i cannot boot into twrp anymore, it's basically bricked.
Can anyone help me recover my phone? i loved that thing, you will be my hero.
i promise when this is resolved i will never mess around with roms and kernels ever agian, i'm freaking out

Try to flash back to stock with kdz, as far as I am hearing this you kinda soft bricked it but not hard so it's still recoverable, you could also maybe try to flash your recovery back with fastboot since your in fastboot mode but I never tried that so I suggest you to go back to stock with kdz flashing
ye try enter download mode and follow this (use search) i think its volum up and connect usb to pc

Thank you for your reply, i tried to get into download mode, but failed every time, i can only press the power button for 5 sec and the Lg logo apears, then i get the same screen.
did this way?
Your phone must be turned off before starting the steps from this guide.
So, press power button and select “power off”.
Then, press the volume up button on your LG G2.
While you are holding the volume up button, plug in your phone’s USB cable.
Keep pressing the Volume up button until the download mode is being displayed.
Now the phone will install some drivers – it should take around 10 minutes to complete; the best will be to let your device install the mentioned drivers.

I did the same thing today by accident. I still can boot into recovery tho, TWRP. Copied the correct kernel file via OTG but it just reboots the recovery and doesn't install the kernel. Have you find any solutions?
EDIT: I actually managed to flash the right kernel and the problem is now fixed. Check everything before flashing something guys, caution
Hey
I was on ressurrection rom and tried to go to Cloudy G2. Since cloudy asks for kk bootloader i used http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/d802-bootloader-changer-1-1-jb-kk-lp-t3104380 with the kk file. Installed cloudy with no issues. Rebooted phone and never again saw the light...
Been for several hours trying to fix it, reading, but it's 04am and i cant see clear anymore. Its my only phone and i need it
So... it does not enter recovery... After flashing i try the combo keys and nothing
I tried to use use the LG Flash tool to revert to stock. I downloads the kdz file but when starting to upgrade it gives an error.
Also tried follow the thread about reverting to stock using lg flash tool 2014 but the same error happens,,, switched usb cables just to be sure...
ideas are accepted... thanks
hmm, maybe wipe your phone AND try another flash tool perhaps?
Can you enter download mode? Do you get black screen or LG logo?
I would wipe if I could get into something to wipe it
Yes. I did get into download mode. But it failed using LG flash tool
I got it figured out and will post on case someone needs it.
I was able to enter agAin in recovery by using the combo keys, power + volume down and when LG logo appears release them and press both volume keys. That did it. Once again in recovery I flashed again kk boot loader, wiped all and flashed cloudy Rom. This time went all ok. Go figure, I did the same thing
well atleast it works now eh?
its working great now.. even better now that today i managed to make my gps work and fix in 5 seconds
Kudos m8! Glad you fixed it. Its annoying having a great device thats not functioning or give us back enough for what we paid for.
