I made one by putting my finger over the lens and taking a picture. Nice black background.

We're just joking buddy. Is there a certain genre for which you are looking? I currently am just using a black carbon fiber background.

Nothing to particular. I'm just looking for a nice black background. Maybe a Droid background. I see a lot of good backgrounds in screen shots but have yet to find a good one to use. Thanks for any help.

do you have a certain one or a screenshot for reference? If so it would assist me with knowing what style you like. If you also have an idea for a wallpaper let me know and I can make it for you.

I wouldnt mind a all black wallpaper with a droid eye in the middle even. I like really cool/different looking black wallpapers. I downloaded the app Rare Black Wallpapers and it had some decent ones, but not quite what I'm looking for. I perfer the screen to be at least 70%+ black with some sort of graphic.

ill get one that is black with a droid eye. give me 20 minutes.

I was searching around for the analog MIUI clock (white one shown below in my homescreen) for a while and recently found it.
It is not included in some MIUI ROMs by default, so I thought it would be a good idea to post the apk for it here for you guys to install.

Wallpaper: Attached below
Tip: To make the wallpapers more crisp, i use an app from the Android Marketplace called 'Wallpaper Set & Save', QR code for it below.

So I am slowly making my MIUI setup darker in the hopes of ultimately going with a black matte look.
I was thinking to myself, "How cool would that look to get the MIUI clock in black."
Thought I'd throw it on the boards and see what people thought of it. Maybe someone with some photoshop talent would step up.
Not sure about the application either. Can we just change the image file, resign it and install?

[OPINIONS] AOSP-Wiz Theme

Hello!
I'm working on a theme for TouchWiz, giving it an AOSP-like look in terms of status bar images. Just wanting some opinions on how it looks so far.
I was planning on releasing it yesterday but ran into a few issues (probably why some of you saw it yesterday and it went within an hour).
This is probably in the wrong section, but since it's related to themes & apps, thought I'd take a punt and post it here. Screenshots below.

OMG, this is what I have been waiting for. I am so glad you are deciding to do this please keep up the impressive looking work. But the thing that will determine its ultimate brilliance is whether or not you keep it up-to-date at compatible with the latest roms. if you can do that and keep up this standard of awesomeness with your work this will be the one and only theme I will ever use dues to the sleekness of Holo and the fact that I love the blue and black colour combo, just make sure the theme is consistent. Sorry for the rant and thanks again for this.

I dont think having it blue all over looks good. Follow the AOSP look?

Now, we are all familiar with the GO family. It has impressed us for many years, but not now. Though good in looks but this launcher is quiet embarrassing, the app drawer icon is small and on the top of the screen. It has many themes, many addons but still it dosen't fulfil the requirements.

This is the perfect launcher i was able to find. It's got everything in it, all the customization thingies, its fast, light, and the best of all, user friendly. I highly recommend this to all users. On Google Play Its got 4.5 rating and over 5,000,000 installs.

I've been using apex for a while. Seems pretty good with a little more customization than stock.

Also i recomend tsf shell launcher.
Its really cool because it has features which no other launcher have. You can move freely(not in a grid) apps and folders, also widgets(resize freely them too). It does need much ram but thats not problem on our tab. We still have much free ram, even after using apps.
Only downside is the prize.

The font is not that great, they haven't done much on the status bar yet I take it and I can almost guarantee that the final version will be drastically different, though the colour... id just rely on venom to change it

I have closed this thread for now. This does appear to be fake. Looking at different screen shots and the build number etc. Closer to the time when more creditable information becomes available, we can look at opening the thread again.
