Firstly love the updated Rom. I just have one issue that I'm having trouble getting answers on. I have issues with my 3g/hspd/gprs freezing mainly when I'm on the move it seems to hang and to resolve it u have to stop and start the data connection. I had a similar issue with the previous version but changed the rootfs file as per dark stones install notes on gamesquare site. This resolved it but does not work for this new version. I'm using radio 2.15 which which I recently upgraded to from HTC.com along with new windows 6.5 rom. Has anyone have this problem or know how to resolve it..?

I do believe he posted accidentally in the wrong thread. And yes connection issues with Android builds have been adressed and discussed but never solved.

i understand they haven't been solved but i don't believe that constitutes a good reason to start yet another thread about it....
Take it easy gents. My first post. I'll not bother next time.

don't be discouraged to post by any means, but it is generally true of all forums that searching is the best solution. if no answer is truly available, then you post your question within the relevant thread.
think about it, would you want to open up the android forum and see a bunch of users posting a new thread for every individual problem that they may have?
so yeah, both slimster and lhernana are right though
Get the Updated 3.14 rom from T-Mobile's website that should fix most of the problems because in the rom's download site it says if 2.1 isnt working try this one with the new radio, careful though it will delete all of your information

This does not belong in the development section as this is not development. Questions expecting answers belong in the section titled Q&A. I know we move fast but try to keep up.
Anyways, I'm on t mobile us. there is not a rom that is stock desire with the mms fix, it has to do with the sense messaging client. That being said, there are several roms that have this fix, if sense is what you want. Cmylxgo has several desire hd roms where mms comes in beautifully. There's a mytouch 4g rom from motoman. there's a themed desire rom, but I forgot who the chef is.
I would also like to point out that you probably would have found all of this with five minutes of the search button or about ten clicks in the development section.

Depending on the ROM, there is usually detail instruction on how to flash the ROM over your current one.

If you use daf or dft, then yes, it will just overwrite everything. If you take this route, I would backup everything with titanium backup first and if you want to some sms bacup app.
I recommend using clockwork recovery mod as a primary way of flashing, however. First, it is a far superior method of changing roms because you can make a full backup and if you don't like the new rom then you go back to everything in it's right place. Second, it seems that many roms are moving to this now. It may soon become more difficult to flash via dft or daf versus with cwm. Educate yourself on this, it's seriously very easy to figure out and even easier to use once you do figure it out.

OK, so i replaced my rom successfully. I want to thank all of you for your help and i aologize for posting in the wrong section. Mods can you close this thread?
Dear Developers & Visitors,
I just visited the XDA forum for a few day, I found that
The HTC HD2 and HTC HD T-Mobile are difference.
and if someone flash the ROM wrong, the device will become brick.
my suggestion : Why don't restructure the forum to specific like
- HTC HD2
- HTC HD2 TMOBILE US
- HTC ...
so it will easy for the member navigate to the right way without problem and safe..
if something wrong or problem about suggestion please let me know as i'm a newbie.
Jame2d
Thats the way the forum used to be organised and has recently been restructured..
The ROMS are still seperate........
TMOUS ROMS HERE
OTHER ROMS HERE
The thing you need to watch out for is flashing the wrong radio, never ever flash a .51. radio to a TMOUS....
But if you read up on what your doing first then this shouldnt be an issue.
Hope that helps.......

Thank you for this thread.
I own and maintain 2 HTC HD2s (T-Mo edition), and both have been using custom Android NAND-based ROMs ever since I got the phones. The issue is that with time, there are more and more random bugs and reboots. Like a ROM suddenly crashing and rebooting, and upon reboot some programs are missing (needs a reboot or a reboot + Dalvik clear to fix), or other strange stuff happens such as available internal memory suddenly jumps to zero (that one only happened once). I feel like despite my best attempts to do clean installs, something's been accumulating and messing things up.
For reference, I have been using SuperWipe as of late, but while it does free up more internal space, it still does not help. My go-to ROM has been Gingerbread MIUI, which has been smooth and stable, but even with that ROM my phones have been crashing a lot lately and exhibiting various bad behavior. I've tried Gingerbread ROMs as well as 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, and 4.4 variants so far over time and have changed internal partition sizes accordingly.
What is the best course of action here? I'm thinking complete wipe and reinstall of everything from scratch. Does that mean I need to reflash HSPL and start from there? It's been a while since I've done that, so I'm trying to remember all the steps. Any general suggestions or ideas about what might be causing the increasingly aberrant behavior?

Hi Photoelectric,
I can only assume that you suffer from bad NAND blocks caused by too many flashings and/or bad a flash. Maybe this points you to a direction where you can check for yourself:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1189544
A tutorial how to check is included in the first post. If bad blocks are the cause of your problems I assume that setting up your ROMs as NativeSD circumvents your phones bad behaviour. @Robbie P, kuzibri, rirozizo am I right?
Kind regards

It could be bad blocks causing Photoelectric's problems, it would be good to find out where they are in nand and increasing the size of the partition they reside in.
if using clk see second post here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2279582
if using mgldr, after switching off android, go to magldr menu/services/dmesg to sd and look at file dmesg.txt on sdcard. Somewhere in there there may be reference to bad blocks and what partition they are in, post dmesg.txt here if in doubt.
