Update for anyone tracking the 3G Upload issue

Just wanted to make sure folks here had heard the latest...look for the last post by a Sprint admin in the "3G Upload Capped?" thread (page 36 of the official Epic 4G forum at Sprint.com).
Sorry, I'd post a link but because I'm considered a noob here still, this site won't let me.

just post the update here with quotes, that way I can see if it's the same one I saw a few days ago and saw in a thread here
Well, Desi (Sprint Admin) first replies on page 35 after a bunch of us are ranting about this issue, saying:
"Wanted to let you know that the fix is still in process and I will update this thread as soon as I have a release date.
Also, I just accidentally deleted several posts (meant to remove only one, but removed it and all it's replies)...so if you have one missing (for no apparent reason), please accept my apology!"
Then after a few folks ask what exactly the issue is and how are they fixing it, Desi replies again on page 36 with:
"I don't have any specifics on the fix...only that it's a software change and will be released asap."

Well its on the discussion of F U Samsung Here is the same story on Engadget, so i guess it wasnt in its own thread but u know...
misread!
The twitters or whatever say gingerBEARD is coming to GalaxyS... are they implying a pirate theme??? That would rock! Hahaha... seriously... I just want AN update... 2.3 would just be bonus. I haven't tried the DK2 leak and roms, too much hassle if it is indeed not going official. I do see though that in dev. The roms seem to be moving right along... any way dk28 can be stable enough for daily driver (given no user error on install)??? Just didn't want to post in the dev section with that.... still confused as to what goes there... only roms and leaks, etc? Like that guys request for a homescreen, its a request to devs, but that section seems to be heavily guarded... so ?s like that get dumped to general... and I would assume he was looking for this for his epic... so general android would be inappropriate. Sorry fo rambling, but people really need to lighten up a little on here, were all anxiously waiting whatever is next... its like an overcrowded jail, with the old schoolers barking rules at the new guys to suit their personal tastes on what they want to BROWSE in these forums. I think all of us who don't dev need to humble up a bit... too many me too comments, or knowitall because you read it from a dev. Jeez... this started as a slightly witty joke and turned into a rant about drama queens... sorry! Hope things move forward in a grownup manner...
Cheers all... thanks for your work on our awesome phone!
Oh, and gizmocrunch were presumptuous that GalaxyS implied the whole line, not just the I9000 or whatever. Seems everyone is hearing what they want, and were being given vague, non-comittal responses from the phone gods.

My epic has a big ol' "Galaxy S" moniker on its back... Sammy hasnt discluded any US phones when it says those things....like the official froyo that the galaxy s would get. They never specified which galaxy s, and then froyo started popping up on all of them

Yet another 2.2 post - Verizon Fascinate

Yeah I know another Froyo 2.2 post. But I found this interesting that the Samsung product page for our phone has it listed with 2.2 coming standard. Maybe a clue that it will come within the next few months.
This is the Fascinate for Verizon network.
Hopeful for 2.2 yes, will it happen, probably not soon. I can wait.
http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones/SCH-I500RKAVZW
there are multiple posts about this same thing....
search for those...
Well that is a step in the right direction. The picture under the little article "Galaxy S with Android 2.2OS" still says 2.1 though, but eh at least they are acknowledging that 2.2 is coming very soon.
Figured i would get flamed for this. But all the rss feeds today are posting. sorry guys, did not read every single 2.2 post from start to finish to realize this was posted.
Anyways. Site is inconsistent. who knows when it will happen. I am not getting my hopes up for it. just thought i would share the already shared news again.
Cheers!

I'm not sure about other people on here, but I appreciate the info. Since this is the first time I have seen it. Also because it is not speculation, it is straight off of the samsung site.
wasn't Flaming you or bagging you, simply saying some other posts here and at www.Fascinateforums.com have more info from Samsung reps...
i don't see 2.2 on that page...it shows 2.1 under specs and near pic?
Looks like the over zealous web programmers have fixed the Fascinate for Verizon to show only 2.1 again. Someone either jumped the gun or is just trying to get peoples hopes up.
Hope they got a good laugh!

Just received my Rogers Arc today. Whats the benefit of...

Flashing? Will it help me get the updates from SE faster?
Also I'll give my impressions soon!
How about you search before posting? Go here.
EDIT:
I see that you have posted several times in the Rogers Branded Arc Thread. So what is the use of starting a new thread related to the same topic?
Let's try to keep the forum organized people! Thanks!

Atrix 2.3.3 in July?

Looks like Kenneth from Briefmobile has identified a release in July for the Atrix 4g. In addition, it appears, we won't be going straight to 2.3.4 after all. It'll start with 2.3.3.
For once, I think it would be nice to have the latest release on our Atrix, but I suppose that's a bit much to ask. Here's to hoping it's not a July 31 release date.

OH I know.
We were ALL there at one point...
Actually,
I think he meant us Lazies.
Thanks for the link.
AT&T only?
It took Australia 4 months to get the Atrix released here, I live in hope that it doesn't take Telstra/Motorola an extra 4 months to release the 2.3.3 update.
However, living in hope only leads to disappointment.
Too bad it's not 2.3.4... I really can't imagine there are enough changes in that version that it would take so long to put blur on it.
Means August or September for us on Bell. Maybe.
Sigh.
Well, they did say they planned to release Gingerbread to the Atrix for USA and Europe simultaneously............don't know if that included Canada lol
Hey guys what us different 2.3.3 and 2.3.4?

The discussion for this is already going on in Kenneths thread in the development forum where he announced this news in an update. Why create another thread to clutter things up when the owner of the information already updated it the day before you posted this???

A software release discussion is more beneficial to users here in the general section. Since I'm not a developer or have any interest in coding I don't spend any time there. It's not "cluttering" anything up.

I would disagree............all the good news comes from the developer forum, and if you don't read there, you will not learn anything, or have any root, sideloading, etc. because that's where everything is regarding that. Kenneths thread is open discussion about the impending updates, etc. He is not developing it, now is he?...............but it is a development regarding the Atrix nonetheless.

I didn't say he was developing it but the assumption is that the developer section is for people that want to code custom ROMs, hax, etc. There are plenty of general users that aren't advanced that are looking for information and come to the general section.
You guys will want 2.3.4, android 2.3.3 has an android os bug thag drains battery life, 2.3.4 fixes that issue
