im ordering my evo tonight and i wondering if anyone ordered their evo or any other phone from them.
I ordered three phones from them. Showed up as advertised and on time. They are part of Wal-Mart. But I went through the Wal-Mart cell phone portal.

I've ordered from them twice and have had no problems!

I ordered from them years ago, was a good transaction I believe.

I have made an order from them years ago over the phone.... this was like in 2001 tho....
Letstalk.com is owned by Walmart.
Sent while sitting on the toilet.
Got my evo from them. Cheapest place on the web. GOOGLE their coupon code for an extra 25 bucks off. Got my evo for 150 (although I used the 25 dollar coupon for shipping costs - their ground shipping is like a week but free. I had it overnighted)
Also ordered from the before for my ATT lines. Got the rebates with them no problems either.
Order from briefly for 149.99 and free activation and free shipping.

when the palm pre first came out, i bought them from letstalk.com for just $30 each. that was the cheapest price at the time, and they were delivered to my door within 2 business days (free shipping).

Are we sure this deal lasts till 12/18 ? I'm currently swamped with finals and wouldnt be able to make it down to Best Buy till the 14th.
Haha if this bad boy is only $99 then I am definitely jumping on this.
Yes, i have the flyer right here.

I just paid $299 on Thursday night...think they will let me return and repurchase? Not sure what their policies are...
Edit....yup, they refunded $200+tax to my AMEX...SWEET!
I returned mine last month with no problems, not even a restocking fee, after a week of use. Buy it again and return other with the older receipt if they give you problems.

is this for all best buys im in CA and not seeing it online anywhere.... **** for that price I might just have to get another one.... Dell never sent in my upgrade paperwork to at&t so I can still get this with an update so sick.... do they have the red ones there or just the black and the white ones....
Doesn't show online because the sale starts tomorrow

WOW. Now THATS a STEAL! Give me my $500 back!
Can you please scan and post the flyer in full?
Best Buy has a guarantee on their price I believe. You should be refunded the difference without having to.return.

It starts today in Memphis Tn as well. They were handing out a single sheet flyer yesterday. Trying to decide between it and the Captivate.
Can anyone share more info on this? I check BestBuy online weekly ad and see nothing of this sort. Love to get one for my wife too at this price.
* EDIT *
I just called my best buy today (Sunday - 12/12) and they said that price was no longer available today. A live person told me it was for Friday and Saturday only??!! :-(
* EDIT #2 *
Called again, same store but asked for mobile dept. They checked confirmed this is true. $99. Nation wide sale. Price adjusted my and got another one for my wife. Cant be happier. Thanks for the post!!!
$99.99 Dell Streak
Checked ad this morning and nothing in it. Checked ATT phones for sell at Best Buy and on the item page it was $99.99. Called at 8:35 AM and talked to them. They said print out info and bring it in and they would match the price. I just paid $$379.00 for Dell Streak and OtterBox Commuter Friday 10 Dec 2010 and Sunday at 11:30 AM I got $214.00 back. Dell Streak final Cost $99.99 plus Tax. Not a bad deal. Dayton Ohio.
300 USD unlocked would be really really nice.
they should let you activate the phone at home like the iPhone 2G,
confirmation $99
I can confirm price is $99 now. I am in Denver. I purchased mine last tuesday at the 299 price. Today I looked in the ad for this week and it wasnt in there but did show online for $99 and in the store for $99. got a credit as that is Bestbuy's policy
Lovin the streak even more now that it only cost me $100 bucks!
Wish I had an upgrade available :-(

i got mine for free anyway....
I pre-ordered the Atrix using AT&T's web store for $320.99 after tax. I assumed the packaging would include a $100 mail in rebate since I'd see the phone advertised for $199 everywhere else.
When I got the phone, there was no rebate material in the box.
I then called AT&T and asked for the $100 rebate. They said I needed to go to an AT&T store to get the rebate. This afternoon, I went to an AT&T store and they said there is no rebate unless you buy the dock. I called AT&T again to complain and they explained I would have to return my phone and buy a new one to get the $199 price. Unfortunately, my sister threw out my packaging so it seems I now spent $320 on a $200 phone. Major bummer.
Does this seem idiotic to anyone else?
So, were any of you guys screwed in a similar way?
I wasn't upgrade eligible but the AT&T website automatically gave me the early upgrade price of $299 and also an instant online discount of $100 so I paid 217 total with taxes. I was actually ready to buy off contract for $499 but it wouldn't give me the option. I recommend you call back and try another rep. I've heard of others that have received the discount after complaining.
i never buy from att anymore, i buy from best buys. they charge you for the phone at the same price as att but without needing a rebate, plus they tax you only on that amount not on the full retail like att does.
Costco. 119.00 plus tax. They even threw in a cheap wired headset and holster.

originally quoted down to $299 over the phone for a "special" early upgrade price because I am not eligible til 2/12.
I ended up having the opportunity to port a dummy business line and have my boss pay for the pay increase. They allowed me to use the line activation to get the atrix on my line and then buy a go phone for the new line. I brought in an amazon print out for $149 and they said they couldn't match but would give me 25 off. so all in all I made out great. LOVE the phone btw. makes my crappy completely forgettable.

was due for an upgrade like a year ago, my iphone crapped out on me and I had no money. Went into brandsmart and got an HTC Aria for a penny with my contract renewal, the lady didnt feel like breaking my $20 bill so I got the aria for free this past November. When the atrix came out my next upgrade wasnt till 2012, but when I looked at it on att website it was giving it to me for $200, so I ordered it. I then sold my HTC Aria on ebay and recouped my $200 thus making the Atrix free. this phone is incredible!!!!! couldnt be happier!!!
Always check best buy first no matter who u use. Usually any mail in rebates any carrier gives u will be an instant rebate at best buy.

Wow this has been a pretty enlightening threat. I've learned to never pre-order and just buy from Costco instead.
My debacle was resolved last night. I found my packaging in the trash at home and brought it to a local AT&T corporate store. They said I had to return the phone and buy a new one in order to get my $100+ back. All told it was a pretty ridiculous process but at least I ended up buying it for $199 eventually. Also, now i have another Atrix I need to root and setup to my liking. Oh well.
$99 from Amazon.com
$249 from a local reseller.
Traded a desire hd that I bought off craig list for 400.

$149 from local AT&T store. Wasn't upgrade eligible yet, but they agreed to allow early upgrade and price match local retailers, and Radio Shack was running them at $149. AT&T website had them at $199 at the time.
$106.49, tax included, on launch day (Feb 22) at an AT&T store.
Had a 100 dollar off upgrade on one of the lines of my family plan.
540 USD (include tax) at AT&T-Miami store (No contract).
Costco: $119+tax.
Went back a week later to get a new Atrix (old one was messed up) and saw that they had it for $99. I got $20 back on my CC. In the end:
$99+tax. (Costco price for upgrade or new line).
One billion dollars
This deal just started this week, and last all month. For those who want a GT7, but are iffy on it. This is a great deal, you receive a $25 gift card as soon as you buy it. Mainly Super Walmart's carry the GT7, but you might find it at a "normal" (Walmart w/o food, and tire service).
So those who are wanting one, buy it now You have no reason to not buy it Use that $25 on Food, or Gas (Some Walmart's have Gas Stations). Or save it for later I don't care, jut get your dream tablet

Check local ads for deal, and you can also match prices I bought one for 200!
To sweaten the deal a little more, if you or a family member work there you get another $25 off for the employee discount! I am going to pick one of these up today.
I would just say to make sure there aren't better deals online. I got mine for $240 ($9 discount) and without tax. Sales tax in my state is 9% which would have added $22 to the price.
Always cross check prices.

I'm gonna try to get mine from the local Walmart. If you live in CA, then Walmart is the place to get it from. I just found out that Walmart only charges tax on the sales price of the item. By CA tax laws, we are supposed to pay tax on the full retail price. Just scooped up an iPhone 5 for my wife's Bday today for $205 out the door.
From the Sprint Store, BestBuy etc it would have cost $254. They charge the $199.99 and then sales tax on the $649.99 value of the device. So thats a big savings in my book, as I saved just under $50 this way.

I'm hoping it shows up on Amazon soon. I plan to buy it outright since I'm halfway into contract and don't know how this Softbank deal is going to play out. I'll keep my options open for any future shenanigans....
CA sucks with all those taxes. So glad l live on the border of NH. Live free or die, no sales or state taxes!!!

I live in Brentwood...Far East Bay. lol
But all Walmarts around do this. I found out a few months ago, when my Mom wanted to get my Pops an upgrade from his iPhone 3Gs. She asked if she had to get it from AT&T and I told her that they can do it at any authorized AT&T reseller. So they were in the local Walmart and my Pops upgraded to an iPhone 4.
My Mom called me later, since she was confused about the price she was charged. She said she was only charged Tax on the SALE price of the phone, not full RETAIL tax. So I googled it and found lots of others said the same thing. So I was pretty stoked to find this out, since that more than wipes out the $36 Activation Charge Fee. You still come out ahead this way, as I would have paid $253, plus $36 activation on my bill. I ended up paying $205, plus $36 activation fee.
I called 5 Walmarts in our county and no one had any iPhone 5's. So I called Tracy Walmart, which is only 30mins from me. He had one iPhone 5 in stock and they charge $189.99 for it, so off we went. The guy was really cool and into Android and we started chatting about the Note 2 during the activation process. He said he was waiting on it (AT&T) and was juiced. He said to give him a call and check back next week, to see if he has em in stock.
PS - They had a Note 1 on display with the other models. So I gotta assume they will also get the Note 2.

I don't like buying at non-Sprint stores because they tend to screw things up. Happened when I got my EVO 4G from radioshack. Never happened to me at Best Buy cause I worked there and made sure it was done right. That's just me though.

I have that rewards program too. But BB charges full retail tax and they
also inflate their retail prices, so taxes are even higher for CA.

Any Californian have any success getting around the tax?

Has anyone out there have any idea if Costco will have the G2 on Thursday for Verizon?

I asked last Friday and they had no information about the phone. They did say any phone released at a Verizon store would be in Costco no more than a few days after.
Yeah my Costco is checking.

Cool, let us know what they say! I'll try to go into mine later this week to see if they have any new information.

I talked to my Costco again today, and they said they will have it for AT&T at launch, but they haven't heard anything for Verizon. He said he assumed it will be available for Verizon too, but he wasn't sure.
Any update?

I called my local Costco yesterday, he wasn't sure when they would be getting the VZW model.
FWIW, Best Buy (at least the one near me) will price match the VERIZON30 promo code (that tasty one that takes 30% off), and if you have any trades, their trade-in values are better than Verizon's. For example:
Thunderbolt
VZW: $5
BB: $13 (w/o charger)
Epic 4G
VZW: $12
BB: $20 (w/o charger)
VZW 32gb GNex
VZW: $35
BB: $75 (w/o charger)
Then pick up the warranty from ensquared.com. same prices as Squaretrade (which is the protection Costco offers, $99 when purchased with phone, otherwise $125 through their website), but covers loss/theft. deductible is higher though, but better peace of mind.
Squaretrade deductible: $25
Lost/Stolen phone: Not Covered
Ensquared deductible: $75 for first claim, $100 for subsequent claims
Lost/Stolen phone: Covered
Both options beat paying $192~240 to VZW over the course of a year for their protection plans.
