Hi i have created a few channels on freenode for general chat about the new phones (pre orders / accesories / apps/ ect) it will be a support channel too when the device is out.

Also, a little tip about IRC clients. Mac users should look at LimeChat and Windows users, HexChat (it's based on X-Chat, hence the name, but it's more updated and supports SSL without hassle).
