Just install Quick Boot from the Market. Boot into recovery using Quick Boot and just do a Nandroid backup from there...
My phone goes to download mode but doesn't go to recovery mode. I want to do a nandroid backup. My phone is working perfectly but doesn't go to recovery mode. But it is going to recovery mode using titanium backup. May i know what is the problem?

Flash the stock rom of your region.
Problem Solved!
I did try everything. Kdz, format factory. Flash tools with cdma, cs emergency.
A video for best example
D805 with jelly bean stock

We Need more info...??
Do you have a custom recovery? did you make a back up?
PS. if you have access to the LG screen don't worry there's always a way to restore. Worry when there's no screen.
Try to post more info like, what were you doing before this? Did you install a custom Rom? and so on

I haven't custom recovery. Only recovery of LG (factory reset) but i have the backup of cloudy rom In my PC.
this occurred when i'm tried flash optimus rom with cloudy kernel in cWM.
In safe mode in stock jelly bean this "sound" doesn't appear. this sound means what?

If you still have CWM try to flash back the backed up rom you have in your PC.

You should still have CWM installed in your device
The sound...?? I have no idea since I have d801 TmoUS, but google is always your friend :good:
the problem is
the G2 every reboot. I can't flash the cwm :\

But if you had CWM installed before, flashing a custom rom won't uninstall CWM you should still have it install.
Did you try power + volume down?
In safe mode, apparently the g2 is normal
But in normal mode the sound appears and freeze de phone until reboot
this video will be fix you G2!

He uses for D802. My is D805. I used custom rom of the D802, but tot file and dll of d802. Can I use this without problem?
Thanks for this video. I did't tried this
I want to make a backup of the original kernel that came with my G2 D802 32GB just in case I need it in the future if I mess up something.
I read that flashify can make a backup of the kernel, but also read this program can brick the G2.
Any other ways to backup the kernel of my original stock LG rom?
And how to restore it in the future if I need to do so?
Thanks a lot!

If you're rooted and have flashed twrp recovery all you have to do is back up the boot partition then you have a back up all you need to do is if you want it back just boot into recovery and restore the boot partition it's not really having a flashable kernel zip but it's one way

¡Perfect! ¡Thanks a lot! :good:
EDIT:
Two questions though.
Using that method, if I restore the boot then I would lose my custom recovery right?
Also, I've read that doing backups through TWRP or CWM doesn't backup the kernel installed at that moment. Is this true? Because if it's true then doing that backup wouldn't make a backup of the kernel.
Thanks!

First question the answer is no you won't lose your recovery and to answer the second question I know with twrp it does back up the kernel I do it with every custom ROM I flash I'll back up its kernel before I install a custom one just so i have it and decide to go back to it now with cwm I'm not sure I only used cwm for a short period of time and wasn't happy with it I prefer twrp
Hey Guys,
I have an S4 with a broken touch screen and USB port that won't be recognized by the computer unless in odin mode or download mode.
I was wondering if I would be able to recover data in this mode somehow from my PC.
Thanks in advance
You can get into recovery and backup the data and then transfer the backup file into your PC?
I'm not really sure on this one since I mostly use my SD Card to backup and restore data.

Yeah, I get into recovery but it's a TWRP recovery mode and it wants me to slide and unlock and use the touch screen as a method of controlling the recovery mode :/
Not sure what do there? Maybe flash another recovery mode?

Oh right, my bad.
Yes, flashing another recovery would be great, you mentioned that Odin worked, then you could flash ClockworkMod and use that, it uses the side buttons so that would work nicely. Make sure to flash the approppriate version of ClockworkMod.

By "broken touchscreen" you mean the touch doesn't work but the screen still displays images?
If so then you could use CWM recovery to backup stuff and then somehow extract the data from the backup.
