Many may have seen it already, but those who didn't will love it =)

I LOVE MY NEXUS!!!!!!

man i love this phone. its design is close to perfect IMO. this one is a keeper ever long after it is obsolete, simply because its a rare smartphone, is from google, and will be a nice little web tablet to keep around for nostalgia. its going in my permanent collection.
most phones i buy then sell after a few months and move onto the next thing, and i recoup about 50% to 75% of my money and use that to buy the next phone.

I remember seeing those videos when I was eagerly waiting the launch nexus. I think i watched those videos 1,000,000 times and just watched them all again!!

That could easily be 2.1, the development emulator that runs 2.1 looks exactly like that.

The video quality is now very similar to the iPhone 4. In some instances it is better in low light situations.
Using power profiling and also the underclock switch the phone idles 5 days and gets well over an entire day of heavy usage
Completely removed the FPS cap. This had to do with the HDMI port and coding was found in the released source kernal which has been removed.
Video performance increased. The video drivers have been updated and is included in the link below.
All of HTC sense has been completely removed. This greatly increases phone speed.

What happened to your call and end keys?

He didnt want his phone to be recognized so he blurred them out, lol.

His call and end buttons look like mine. The paint was probably comming off the buttons so he probably scraped it the rest of the way off.

This. Some of the early Hero's seem to have a problem with the phone keys. Mine and my brothers paint came off (day 1 Hero users) and my wife's (few months down the line) appears to be fine. A few other people I know that bought them a few month's later haven't had any issues either.

I got my Hero a few months down the line and the paint came off. I went to Sprint and had them replaced and they replaced my track ball.

Basically. If any owner of a Nexus 7 wouldn't mind being totally awesome, can you try the following test of mine?
Basically. There are two modes, Max and Min. First, grab a Tegra game, it needs to be one of those fancy ones that will push it to the limit. Hopefully one that can last you a LONG time. Two games can be used, but MUST be used in the same order. Like Game A Game B, Game A Game B
Please Film your entire test, and upload to youtube if you can!
Please use The Official U.S. time clock website in the background of the video, say on your monitor. [http://www.time.gov/timezone.cgi?Eastern/d/-5/java/]
MAX Mode - Max Brightness, Max Volume, no dimming or screen off time, email must be refreshing every 15 minutes or less. All apps must have notifications on, all refreshing as much as possible as often as possible automatically. The test, just play said game nonstop for as long as possible. Open the game, and don't start the time till you unplug the Nexus. Record times and post them if you please :3

MIN Mode Minimal Brightness, no volume (muted), No apps refreshing, No email, no auto data, no background data, no facebook, No NOTHING. Absolutely nothing syncing in the background. Screen must STILL remain on and running the whole session. Open the SAME game, and as before, don't start the time till the Nexus has been unplugged from the charger. Record times and post them please!
Obviously, start with 100% battery. XD If you can upload to you-tube, consider me a subscriber. Of course, fee free to speed the video up. Let's pretend you get 7 hours, you can speed it to 7 minutes if you like. NO trimming though! Also, find a way for my to donate to you if you like, and I will try to help out.
This is my favorite type of battery test, the most extremes compared to one another! I want to see the Nexus pushed TO THE LIMIT!

Awesome! I would be preparing to do it myself, but with school and work and taking care of my grandparents, I cannot set aside something like (hopefully) 7 hours or more.
My hopes... Are that on Max settings. It gets at least 4-5 hours.
And on Minimal, over 9 hours.

Note 2 sighting!

I need some help. I am an ATT Note user and I live in Chicago. I notice when other people have Notes and always try to talk with them. Today I was about to do that when the man moved his hand and I noticed that he had a large physical button and two virtual buttons on the device. I looked at it for a while and finally asked what phone it was. He looked confused and said it was the Note. I asked if it was the Note 2 and he looked shocked and said, "umm, I dont think that's out" then he looked away. He was a normal middle aged man in casual atire. The phone had no 4G, but he had wifi on (probably a mobile hotspot). Does anyone know how the heck he could have gotten the phone. The only thing I could think of is a big time executive, but there would be no reason at all for him to be in my neighborhood and on the bus.
I know you can not see anything in the picture, but I can prove my point. You CAN see the samsung logo on the left side of the device. His hand on the right is covering the physical button. If this was the Galaxy Note the screen would not turn in that direction (unless he was rooted) . I know it's a leap of faith but I promise there was a physical button and that is the Note 2.

I'm sure there are plenty of phone testers wandering around doing phone signal tests/etc.
Before Canon releases a new camera they always loan them out to people to beta test (under NDA)
If I was testing a prototype I wouldn't tell anyone what it was, lest someone try to steal it.

I had a manager at T-mo tell me yesterday he's seen/played with the Note II, also hinted at a possible mid october release. but i don't have much faith in him.
anyway, i'm sure there are a handful of Note II's out there. gotta test them somehow.

I think this is how they got pictures of the iPhone 4 two years ago.

The international version of the note 1 (n7000) has a large physical button and 2 soft buttons as well, Just the same as the note 2..
It can be easy to confuse the two..

So, did the phone look like this ?

it could very well be a Note n7000
