Is there a messenger app that will sort messages to sent & received boxes?

Hi,
I'm trying to write an app that has to manipulate my inbox and my sent messages without sending or receiving a message.
This tutorial shows me how i can send messages, but i want my phone to think that i sent one, without actually sending one.
I've searched in the Android References and i think i need to use:
SMS Manager
SMS Message
How can i do this?
Morning everyone has anyone else experienced there messages in their inbox being out of order? I send a text and the message that shows up are the ones from my recipient i have to scroll up to see mines.

Hi does anyone know what I can do to fix my text messages that are coming in out of sync. If I send a message then the one I receive is being put ontop of my original message and its putting them in different places in the text

When I add another sms application to my Samsung S8 plus the messages I have sent do not appear in the new sms app. I only see the messages I received and I have gone in and made the new sms application the default app. I have tried using Google and Textra for sms with same results. Odd issue but I saw someone else posting about this on a different forum.
Anyone know why the messages I have sent are not showing up when trying to use a different sms application?
Hoping someone can help. I successfully installed Samsung Flow software/drivers and paired with my brand new and updated unlocked S8. Notifications and texts come through just fine. However, for whatever reasons, when I reply to a text message through the Flow desktop app, the desktop app shows the message as sent but it actually never sends.
I have tested with texting between this S8 (T-Mobile SIM) and a Verizon phone and another T-Mobile phone and using two different Win10 laptops. Same result, any text message sent using the Samsung Flow desktop app never reaches the recipient. If I send the text from the S8 itself, it gets delivered to the recipient, no problem.
I have verified the android app has all the necessary permissions enabled on the phone side (including SMS) but still, text messages are still not being delivered when sent through the desktop app (Google's Android Messages app is my SMS client). Dismissing notifications through the desktop app also syncs it to the phone, enabling hotspot through the desktop app works fine, but again, its just the text messages seemingly not being sent. These unsent texts don't appear in the android SMS app either as unsent (they are not present in the SMS client app in any form at all). Any help is greatly appreciated.
