Thanks, it has to be a samsung thing, the stock browser on my wife's droid loads it up fine.

You going to the mobile version or the desktop version? Mine went to the mobile version just fine.

Crashed on the mobile version.it's probably a bug in this versions browser.I'm running stock with the ota update.

It's the update. First time I did not have the update on the phone. Added the update today and now it crashes.

Hmm... not having a problem with it. Does it happen when you just hit the home page or does it happen if you sign in?

Hrmm...it also crashes for me. Using Dolphin HD and have the OTA update 1.

Browser Frezing Up...

Whenever I use the browser for a while with tabs, especially on forums, the browser stops loading pages. The page load status bar just stops half way.
If I force stop the browser in Settings and then go back into it everything works fine for a while until I need to force stop again.
Anyone else with this problem? Any solutions?
It happened to me today. I had to reboot and it got fixed.

I have been having similar issues with the default browser. It loads about 80% and then just stalls. Dolphin browser works fine so I know its not my wireless connection. Kinda of annoyong when I'm trying to do something and I prefer the default browser so I hope this gets fixed some time soon.

Same thing has been happening to me still day 1 with stock browser.
After about 3-4 tabs, pages will start to half load then crash. Even after force closing the browser when I reopen after about 2 tabs it starts to freeze up again until I restart the tab. And now Dolphin HD is crashing on me when ever there a flash heavy site.
WHat gives??
I am sure MOTO will fix this problem some day
The only problem/issue I've had with the browser is: When your watching a video via flash on a site, streaming it, if you switch away from that tab it stops playing the audio.
Makes it impossible to listen to something via stream in the browser and browse other sites =/

Not Moto's issue -- it's the stock honeycomb browser. This update will be coming from Google.

Stock Browser an Dolphin HD Crashing

Both the stock browser as well as Dolphin HD have been crashing on me since the recent adobe 10.2 update. Stock 6 times last night, made me purchase Dolphin from a few recommendations. Then Dolphin started crashing, a total of 3 times before I gave up and went to my pc.
This morning both have crashed a few times already.
Anyone else experiencing this? Recommendations?
when flash was installing it probably farqued something up. Uninstall/reinstall it like any other app in the market.

That was one of the first things I did this morning. Luckily both browsers have only crashed once or twice today.
May have to be something to live with until the next update or the next android os.

[Q] Updating Facebook app that came with the ASUS Transformer

I have an ASUS Transformer that shipped with Android 3.0, one of my Bosses has just had an Android 3.1 Transformer arrive.
3.0 Provided Facebook and Twitter apps and widgets
3.1 does not
Has anyone else with a 3.0 version tablet(updated via OTA or flashing to 3.1) had problems getting the facebook app to update?
Should I uninstall the app and try to get it from the Market?

the facebook app was updated and the transformer was added to incompatible for the facebook app.
That sucks. You can use Launcher Pro with their sweet widgets.
As big as Facebook is, I'm sure it will get updated quickly. They've been updating it pretty frequently.
That or some awesome dev here will get it working. Maybe just something with the build.prop.
Well that answers it then.
Damn you Facebook, roll on Google+
My transformer shipped without Facebook so I went ahead and download Friend Me which is actually better in my opinion.
I had to download the APK from the forums since the market was stating incompatibility with the tablet however it works fine.
Why a facebook app?
Facebook in the browser works flawlessly! Add in the keyboard dock and you are no different than using it as if it was a windows PC.

FriendMe works even more flawlessly. Give it a try.
Only annoyance with Facebook in browser is that the full site goes back to the mobile website after pressing the top left "Facebook"
FRIEND ME isn't perfect but very nice and intuitive...

Weird. I haven't had that issue. Is your user agent set permanently? I use the
stock browser.
Friendme looks nice, but I don't like third party programs taking my facebook info and to my knoweldge, Friendme doesn't have chat?

It's set to Android. It'd probably fix it as setting it to Desktop but I prefer having it set to Android. Just tried it, top left is now fixed. Now when I hit Home it goes to the mobile page of Facebook.

[Solved] Market 3.1.5 not receiving updates.

I am on Cognition 1.5.1 with JKay's v.10.1 theme. It all started yesterday. I can't seem to receive any updates and the notifications as well. I've turned on update notifications, mind you. I also can't seem to download anything at all. The progress bar would just be stuck on 'downloading' for the whole time.
I've tried clearing data, uninstalling updates, using 3G or wireless but to no avail.
I have a friend who is on GingerMOD Vanilla v0.4b and he is having the same problem as well
Anyone having this issue as well? Do you reckon it is Google's issue?

EDIT: Title should read Market 3.1.5 not receiving updates.
Not uncommon for this to be Google's fault, but I've managed to download a couple of things just fine in the last 24 hours.
Update notifications are pretty useless, I never seem to get them until I actually open the Market app by which time I already know there's updates.

You're not the only one, version 3.1.3 was buggy as hell, 3.1.5 a lil better, but still takes ages to load installed apps on phone's data, shows updates when there's none, hangs when trying to update or download new apps. Strange thing is market works fine if i access apps from appbrain market app, so it's definetely a problem in the google market app as downloads start and work fine if redirected from other apps.
Update: All is good for now. I can finally download apps again. Google's problem it is! Cheers.

Does Samsung Internet work on this phone?

Can somebody try and let me know? I am considering this phone but I am perfectly satisfied with Samsung Internet (browser) and hate the Chrome. Thanks guys.

I installed Internet beta, and it worked well. Only problem was that if I clicked a link in the Google app, the Samsung browser would open but on the wrong page. I would have to press the tabs button and then find the Google page I had just clicked on (I guess it opened in the background). For this reason, I switched to Brave browser.
I installed it (couldn't get it from the play store) got it from apkmirror.com and worked just fine
