Hello
The bar on the top of the screen disapeared...how can i enable it?
That's going to depend on how you disabled it, you should probably do the opposite to what you did.
I dont remember how i done it
Well two things to check are:
Menu>Settings>Cyanogen Settings>Tablet Tweaks>Bottom status bar. Should be unchecked.
This moves the status bar from the top to the bottom (I know it says tablets but it can impact the phone too if used).
Or try Menu>Settings>ADW Settings>Screen Preferences>Hide StatusBar. Should be unchecked.
It toggles hiding the status bar.
I am on ATT with 5.0, phone not rooted. I just noticed this today. Used to be, when the phone was "resting," if I would get an audible email (or other) notification, I would hit the home button to turn on the lock screen and there would be icons at the top left of the status bar showing me what notifications were there. I would then swipe down from the top and they would show (in a white box) over the wallpaper. Now what happens is, when I get the notification, I turn on the screen and the white box is already on the screen, with no icon in the status bar. If I hit "clear," the notice goes away, but the white box saying my WiFi is on stays there. If I swipe on it, it goes away, but the phone "wakes up" (unlocks). It always showed a text message instantly, which is fine, but not emails and other notifications (like updates...etc). What happened?
I have a few persistent notifications in the drop down Tasker, Last Pass, Pebble. Before the update there was no notification showing up at the top. Now it always says "3" with a big arrow. It will drive me utterly insane if it stays like that. Any way to make it not do that? Before how it would only do that if there were too many icons to show individually on the bar. Does it never do that now? It always shows a number instead of showing you which app it was for which was actually useful.
Settings, display, untoggle "only show quantity in status bar "
Fabulous, thanks.
My status bar, meaning the one that shows the battery percentage and Wi-Fi symbol and the clock is not showing anymore unless I pull it down. It's like it is auto hiding itself and I cannot find any setting or anything on Google that tells how to fix this
I swear it was at the bottom earlier, but after attempting to update ( I am rooted), it doesn't show at the bottom as before. I have to swipe up to show them. The settings only change it from on or guestures.
Somehow, I was able to get it back. Not posting the setting, as I am not sure what fixed it.
Now if I could get a date and not just the time on the status bar.
