i can't use my wifi in htc touch diamond

I have a HTC Touch diamond purchased in Taiwan..
My problem is I can't access my internet thru WiFi when I go back to Philippines.. I called the customer service of htc in here in the Philippines and an agent told me that i need to unlock my phone to be able to use it. But she said that they are not recommending to unlock it due to various reasons..
Help me to decide if I'm going to unlock it or not?!..
And how can I unlock it if ever?

[Q] Help w/ HTC Desire

I am currently using a HTC Desire which I bought in Singapore.
However, I am in China and using a China Mobile sim which does not have any 3G technology. I could call and SMS, however, I could not get into the internet via GPRS.
Is there someone who will be able to help me out?

[Q] HTC HD2 internet setting in India (Please Help)

Hi guys, I am new and I apologize in advance if I am posting in wrong section. I bought HTC HD2 unlocked in USA and have windows 6.5 on it. Now I am in India using Vodafone company for phone and internet. Here in India they say I need internet setting for the internet to work on my cell phone. Customer care don't even know of HTC and they say they don't know how to help me. Someone please help me get the internet setting so I can use the internet on my HTC HD2. Thanks a lot in advance.
