[Q] Danish values for market enabler - Click General

Hey.
I´ve been using market enabler on my Tattoo for a while now. But since Google has opened up for paid apps in Denmark i would like to check out the danish part of the market.
But... I'm missing the correct values.
So if any one know what the values are for Telia DK (or any danish operator really) i would become a happy little camper

Changing Language Qesutions

I am looking to purchase the HTC HD. Being that I live in Canada there are no too many ways of getting this phone ( that i know of anyways). I have found a site that sells it for what i believe is to be a reasonable price. The only problem is that it is a french version. I was wondering if i could change the language to english? i saw that there was a rom or something in another section of this forum but being as i have no technical knowledge of any of this i would like to make sure i can change it before i make this purcahse. Another question i have is if i am able to change the language, will the device work perfectly as if it were an english deivce to begin with or could there be some bugs or problems and is this an easy process to do? I'd appreciate any help Thanks. This is the link to the site http://www.expansys.ca/p.aspx?i=173661.
Anyone able to help?
I would need that info too.
The only difference is that I would like to purchase the Touch HD in Italy and then change the language to English.
A WindowsMobile device does not offer the option of changing the language on the go, like you know it from standard mobile phones. The ROM (operating system) includes one language, so in order to change it one needs to change the ROM. But you will loose your warranty in the process. But each HTC distributor on a country level also stocks the English (called WWE) version for each device, the key is to get your shop to order it for you. In Canada, if there is an official French version, there must also be an English one.

How to change keyboard from US to UK

I installed the AVA image which works great except for the keyboard settings. It seems that this image is for US phones and I have a UK one.
Does anybody knows how I can change the keyboard lay-out from US to UK? I found already a lot of ways to change it to all other languages as French, Dutch etc., all except UK.

Changing language from germans to english

Hallo guys,
I know this is a stupid question..but I am completely new to android....
I am planning to buy a HTC desire for me (after a hard time choosing desire over legend)and htc hero for my younger brother (yup...must be definitely a lot cheaper one)...
I am living in germany and I have no problem using germans but my bro back home doesn't understand a word in germans...
I plan to buy it brand new and without any form of branding from any operator...
Can I change the hero from germans to english completely? All...HTC sense, standard installed apps which come with the handset...
Yes you can... I bought my little Hero from eXpansys last year and it come with English, French, Deutsch and Italiano as default.
Menu > Settings > Language & Text > Here I am unsure what it is in English since I use Swedish (More Locale 2 @ Market rocks) but it's at the top and then you can change it to whatever you like...
HTC actually include more language files into the Hero than is normaly available to the different regions and to get to those you have to download More Locale 2 from the market.
Thank you very much for your answer.
Have a nice day.

Stock ROM language changeable?

I'm about to buy an HTC Wildfire.
It is not available in my country, but I found an on-line store who ships the phone at a good price, however, it has written the following warning: "Software in Spanish".
Does Android allow you to choose the language as any other phone OS (except WM) or is it pinned down to one language as the Windows Mobile handsets?
No idea anyone?
Yes you can change the display language. Well you can on my UK T-Mobile one.

If it's not bothering too much, can you check if it has "Portuguese" or "Português" on the list?
At least I'll know if I can order one from the UK.

Thank you!
yeah, but isn't that the locale? where it changes just the date, currency and stuff like that?
Does it change all the menu's language? A complete language change?
thanks
There are missing some languages in stock rom, but you can find a lot in CM7. In my case, neither of stock and CM7 has it. I'm looking for a Persian rom.

Japan Locale available?

I'm fairly new to the android circle so please forgive me if I'm missing something obvious.
My phone did not come with the Japanese locale and i want to install it. I have seen many language packs on the market but nothing for Japanese. Not even sure if it's the same thing. I am quite sure a Japanese Locale is available as it is in the 2.1 SDK. How would i go about getting it on my phone?
Thanks
What you need exactly? If you need the keyboard input, search for OpenWnn plus, it provides you the ability to input Japanese text. If you need the locale language, I think it is the ROM providing that (I also not very sure).
need japanese ui?
so, please install morelocale2 on the market
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
I recommand you Simeji if you need a Japanese imput software, it's quite easy to use, and provides different keyboad layers...
if you need japanese UI, i can't help you but i'm pretty sure you can find some japanese rom on the web.
For the ui I would recommend MoreLocale2 from the market like zafy said. My parents use it for Chinese and it's great. I have also taken the time to look through the Japanese locale just to make sure it's all good as some users on the market are saying that theres some English bits left over. I can confirm that it works great on Official Froyo HTC Sense ROM 1.0c. The sense ui is also translated.
Hope that helps
