I found this News and really like the Font shown in the Screenshots:
http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2010/10/new-ubuntu-font-meets-android-looks-stunning/
Although it has a step by step guide I wanted to ask if it would be possible for somebody to create an flashable zip?
At the moment I don't have Ubuntu installed because I'm waiting for the final release in 5 Days.
ZOMG! Font!!1111! this is quite the development break through.....
Oh no... sorry ... I thought I was posting in the Themes And Apps Forum. Sorry for that. A Mod will move it. Again ... sorry.
But hey Juggalo atleast it gave you a reason for a very funny and sarcastic joke. You rule, bro. You should comment more threads with useless stuff.
Moved to Themes and Apps as the OP posted by accident in the wrong forum.

I was serious tho...
Dude, **** happens, i saw the opportunity for lolz and took it. If you cant laugh in life then your miserable, and if you cannot laugh at your self in times then you must be a miserable person
At any rate, Font = nice, Wrong section = funny and mod moving it = crisis overred.
Carry on.
well then I'm sorry but it only liked a bad joke on a tiny mistake I made.
And thats nothing I larf about.

You can download the fonts here:
http://en.fonts2u.com/download/ubuntu.familie
(only Ubuntu and Ubuntu Bold needed)
and apply them with Font Changer:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=744363
(you should rename them to Ubuntu.ttf and Ubuntubd.ttf first)
Edit: Yes, they do look awesome
Looks good... but awfully similar to Verdana :/
it cuts a bit of the numbers in HTC clock... although, all in all, looks great

Sorry ... I completely forgot to thank you. At least for the fonts because I did it with a Terminal Emulator like said in the Guide.
I love it ... it looks great.
can anyone please go to ar.wikipedia.com
are arabic fonts displayed?
thanks in advance
nevermind just flashed at and it worked fine.
Doesn't show well when there's longer text than can be displayed.
There was a thread on this last week, which provided an update.zip to do this for everyone.
Just search
What would the update zip do, I'm using fontchanger to swap fonts, if update zip just has newer .ttf files, I can just overwrite them.. What is new about that update?

Hmm... To tell you the truth, I have no idea. I am using the stock v20g ROM + root and tweaks btw. You should go find the special tutorial for applying bootscreens on the V or your ROM.

Applying the bootanimation is cake. I should have been more clear. The sound file folder doesnt exist in the path listed above. Ive tried various different things to get this to work and asked about it before in other threads. But nobody knows.
Thanks for the reply guess Ill go rip apart the stock rom and see where virgin hides their sounds.

Ah, I see. Yeah, guess you gotta do that if the sound is not the same as the original LG one (you can check that out in a recent video on my YouTube channel).
Hello again, here is a mini guide to install custom themes in kyrillos rom v9
What about themes? How can i know if a theme is compatible with kyrillos rom?
- Firstly, you have to check it it supports nine lockscreen. (If it doesnt, contact the developer of the theme and ask him to enable his theme 9 lockscreen support). Here is a thread that has the theme list, so you can easily find a theme.
- You can replace any of the theme files EXCEPT: Settings.apk, android.policy.jar, framework.jar, services.jar. If you do replace any if those, your phone will bootloop. (If it is a CWM zip file, just open it and delete the above files.)
- Enjoy the theme
Hope it helps, i added it to the Q&A thread too.
Thank you for your help.

I get bootloops on installing update.zip on Kyrillos 9.1 , Kyorarom 0.4 , deodexed jp6 as well ... first two are 9 lockscreen and other 5 lockscreen mod ..
Anyone can tell how to install ??? or someone tried out?
(after installing from CWM i wiped the dalvik-cache too)
You guided me here ..
but after removing Settings.apk, android.policy.jar, services.jar these files also still bootloops .
Is there anyway to install a theme not belonging to 9lockscreen mod on 9.2?
Good day developers, can you help me, Im using STOCK ROM DXMA1 (deodexed). I want to modify my "TouchWiz30Launcher.apk", instead of 4 icon Column dock, I want to make it 5. I follow this guide somehow, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1668984 but it didn't help me. It made my "touchwiz30Launcher.apk" 5 docks but when I put the other application(last time it was 4 and now it turns 5, 4+1=5) on DOCK, the application disappear. Then I tried following this guide again, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1500230 although it is for Galaxy Ace, I think it is similar somehow with SGY (note: I only did was, PART II number 1 and 2.)Then the problem in my first try modifying the TouchWiz30Launcher.apk is similar with the second one. Guys if you know, can you help me with this problem or guide me or if there are some similar questions/forum post like this that had been answered, kindly post it? Help me please.
did you install it as a system app?
try removing the classes.dex from original to the modified one,
also was the app compiling process a success?
gee i had to trouble reading the text on that one

No FC sir. It just the application icon disappear from the menu and it was irreversible. Thanks anyway, I solved my case. This thread should be close now.

HIHIHI. I just modify Mr. zalzondabuzz 5 docks bottomfrom here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1958201 . I just decompile his/her work and i transfer all the png's because, I dont want the actual TouchWiz30Launcher to be modified, it's just like I want to make it 5 docks. and thats it. xD
I was just curious to know if I could take the Wi-Fi and LTE indicator from one theme and add it to another? I like the indicators from Bobcats theme, but am using Blak X for my theme and its just white bars.
I did look around for answers, and couldn't find anything that seemed to match what I was asking. Any help or direction would be appreciated, and clearly I am new to this, otherwise I wouldn't have wasted anyone's time if this was asked differently and answered.
Just some guidance is all I'm looking for.
Thanks-
Wow... nobody has answered yet? Yes, you can. They are simply png's in systemui, but it can only be used for personal uses

I've seen build prop edits that semi worked. So I should be able to pull the pngs from another system ui zip it up and flash?
Have you ever used 7zip? You will have to do it on a computer, but you don't even have to unzip your rom or decompile the systemui.apk. Right click on the zip, choose open archive with 7zip, then navigate within the folders to systemui and simply replace the pngs. You will need to make sure they are named exactly the same though

Btw, you could also use root explorer too, but I've never used it before so not sure how people go about doing it that way

Yeah, nobody answered lol.. till now. Thanks @Train88 and @neopolotin75 for your replies and guidance.
@Train88 I tried using root explorer early on and kinda fumbled stuff up in there. I did see using 7zip before and finally had the time to dl it to the pc.
@neopolotin75 I appreciate the offer, I just wanted the guidance. If you have the time, I'd appreciate it, if not no worries.
All of these themer's do so much already and produce such amazing work, I wanted to just know/learn how to do simple mods to my ROM without the burden of someone having to do it for me.
Thanks again :good:
Team BlackOut rocks BTW :good:
I am using this theme for few days it changes most of your user interface as close as stock android. You are going to love it if you are a stock android lover. But it shows five minutes trail every now and then. If anyone can fix this will be thankful.
