This is a Set of 47 Weather Icons in Realize-Style that fit to my newest Icon Set. Sorry that I open a new thread because i have no more Space on the first Post of my old thread to upload or show pictures..
This is made especially (but not only) for ifonz, because Sid-Shrunk found a way with mortscript to show the actual Weather with a Icon and temperature and by pressing on the weather icon a forecast on the next four icons appears (!) See more here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=439875
1. First ZIP: 96x96 original tranparent PNGs, and 52x52 PNG (optimized for a dark or black ifonz background)
2. NEW: Another Zip with 48 Pixel Icons for Ifonz, because ifonz itself doesn`t render/resize Icons very good
Anyone can use this for any application, even for s2u2 weather. If you want to use this or my other icon sets for ROMS or Apps you don`t need to ask, just give me credits.
The Icons have four different backgrounds (Day, day-snow,night, night snow). I used also the manila/rumball or whatever graphics, so if anyone here or Rumball is the designer of the original weather graphics, please tell it to me. Thank you
I just can say whau,
perfect smooth look. I'm thinkig about changing my iconset to realize look. Hope we'll get a lot of weatherchanges in next days
oh wow they look awesome...... be even more awesome for VGA marsware ... hint hint...... but yeah i really think it's awesome
thank you, glad you like it, united bavarian tech power with Sid-Shrunk
Icons can be used for other weather apps because they are big enough and i made also transparent pngs, but i don´t know how to create a weatherpanel skin.
EDIT: I updated 48x48 Icons for Ifonz, because ifonz itself doesn`t resize Icons very good.
Very nice icons blue, thanks
Great looking icons, I'll definitely be using these
I somehow missed this release, great job blue..
S2U2 and SPB weather
Blue,
Just really took a close look at your realize icons, and I LOVE THEM!!
I would like to use your weather icons for S2U2. I get my weather from SPB weather, and it has all its icons in one png file. I have attached the original, do you have your realize icons in a single strip like this?
Thanks

Hi All-
So, while I'm relatively experienced in computer programming, I'm just starting out learning the android SDK and one of my first tasks was to replace some files in an APK file, namely the Dazzle widget apk.
I wanted to make the background of the widget slightly transparent instead of fully black. I opened the APK, pulled the background file out of the HDPI drawable folder, opened it in GIMP, reduced the opacity, and saved it as a png. I put that PNG back into the Dazzle APK, resigned it using a tool I found here on XDA, and used ADB to install it.
However, when I try to add the widget, the background is now too small (however, it is transparent, so clearly it is reading the correct file)! It only takes up about 75% of the size of the widget, and doesn't cover the white buttons that are supposed to be imposed on it. I have not edited the dimensions of the image, so I don't know what's going on.
Is there something I'm overlooking? Please help!
Thanks!

Maybe a dumb question but was it a .9.png by chance?
It is a .9.png! I didn't realize files with that extension had any special meeting. I assume that I'll have to use the special tool that come with the developer kit in order to properly edit these.
Anyone have a link to a guide/directions I can follow?
1 download wallpaper slideshow from marker
2 put **ONE** 1280x800picture in a created folder called wallpaper or what ever u want to call the folder *use root explore
3 go to live wallpapers and choose wallpaper slide show and go to settings
4 uncheck ALL boxes
5 choose the picture that's in the folder
Here's a excelent website with 1280x800 wallpapers http://www.widewallpapers.net/index.php
Enjoy a crisp clean wallpaper with no fuzzy or cropped junk
P.s this is not really a live wallpaper so u will not lose performance or battery drain
can you tell me the directory structure to get to the wallpaper folder?

Sorry for the confusion just put ONE picture in any created folder. The folder could be called hamburgers if u want lol. I will edit post
Hi !
I would like to extract the image of a live wallpaper, but I can't seem to find it.
Used apk tool to decompile the apk, and when I look for the image there's only a 256x256 thumbnail of the wallpaper in the res/drawable folder... How come ?
Another solution would be to modify the apk to make the wallpaper still instead of animated, but I don't know where to start. Is there a file I could modify to do that ?
Thanks a million for your help !
Cheers
It sounds like the wallpaper is generated entirely with an algorithm. Live wallpapers are actually special apps that run behind the icons.
A simple solution is to just take a screenshot of the wallpaper. You can select it in the Live Wallpaper picker and take a screenshot of it. Then, you can crop out the bottom area that has the Settings and Set Wallpaper buttons.
What wallpaper are you trying to take a still image of?
That's what I thought... Damn.
I tried to use a screenshot but it's not the same since it's smaller and can't cover the sliding effect. Better than nothing though.
I'm trying to get a still image of the "Holo Grid" wallpaper.
Thanks anyway
Hello,
can anybody with the Dot View case extract or make pictures of all the weather icons?
I know that they are not really Icons, from Marques Video you can see that the real Icons is bigger and altered by the case itself.
I have some Icons from the press pictures.
I want to rebuild this Icons for Zooper Widgets and would be really thankful for pictures!
