Hey,
not that i'm working for the company or anything, but i was just wondering. Why doesn't anybody use LCD Density changer?
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/lcd-density-changer-application-v3-0-released/
It's a great piece of software to change the size of the fonts, widgets and icons on your screen. Setting the density to 180 and combining that with ADW Launcher (preferred)
http://jbthemes.com/anderweb/
or Launcher Pro
http://www.launcherpro.com/
and setting the desktop collumns to 6 and the rows to 7 (and in ADW turn on the stretch feature) makes you put more widgets and Icons on your desktop.
Just wanted to share !
I also think about it. I can't live without density 200
I personally just alter build.prop. The program works like a charm, i just think changing the actual setting works better for me then using a program to do so. I could use some good theme software though
i used to. but things look out of place and funky after a while
Yawn...
This is the Android development section. There is a specific section for Android Questions.
You guy's sure keep the mods busy.....
i use on every non-sense build. density 180 for me
1st - This is in the wrong forum.
2nd - I change build.prop file manually to 180. It's not difficult.

If you're asking why its not included in builds, it's because it's a PAID APP.
There's a free one in the Android Market callde LCD Density, works ok too
~HD2 Android~
a lot of people use it....I do

Though this doesn't really work in Sense builds? Or at least not for me
Android Theme Section ?
Perhaps there should be an android themes section where you can post tips and tricks like this. Especially the adw ex tip in this post (i think) could be pretty usefull for some people who like to theme there android builds. Then we could exchange tips and screenshots. of our individual desktops. What do the mods think about that ?
greetings Boris.

Take a look at this thread for posting screenshots and exchanging tips:

And, as for a new proposal for reorganizing the hierarchy of the HD2 section, please vote here:

Hello, I changed my phone desnity from 120 to 110, and now some of apps like Dialer, Calculator, Music Player doesn't fill the full screen. I added some screenies for you to see what I'm talking about. Any ideas how to fix it without changing density value back to 120 (it's too big for me).
Looking forward for answers.
which app did you use to change density?
LCD Density from Android Market.
Using Kyrillo's ROM v2.3
Find other dialer, calc etc.
These apps are created only to 400x240 120DPI, but other's have multi-resolution(and DPI) support
Hi all
Wondering if anyone is using JaguarMiUI v11 with LCD density changed to 140 or 167? I got spare part+ installed. The initial dialer scaled out properly. But the in call dialer/keyboard does not.
The layout file for the incall dailer is non_drawer_dtmf_dialer.xml and it uses DTMFTwelveKeyDialerView in place of Linearlayout (which the initial dialer uses and works) for the orientation.
Has someone try to change it? How does that work for you?
Thanks
Hello,
I've been using Nova Launcher for well over a year, but one thing missing for me is being able to control the fonts within the launcher more. There is no option to change the font size, which I find makes the fonts smaller than the system fonts and giving a not very fluid layout throughout the rom.
Can anyone recommend a similar launcher which has the option to change the font size and type?
It's a little frustrating when installing a launcher it also changes the font (often reducing the size) on the homescreen, while the system font in settings, dialer and contacts remain the same.
Anyone know where I'm coming from on this?
Thanks.
Hey!
I changed my Tuchwiz launcher DPI and screen resolution with app setting , but now I have some issue fit some widgets.
Is there any way to change their size?
Thanks alot for your time and help.
